mmmmmm!! I was one of those at Snowpatrol. Had a stinking cold and had just finished work. I had a thoroughly enjoyable time st down whilst everyone around me was stood. Was much easier blowing my nose every 30 seconds too! :D

there's pros and cons to both: standing pros: you get an amazing view, the atmosphere is wicked & you can dance to your hearts content. cons: you get soaked coz people dump their finished glasses on the floor; you get squashed by nutters who don't understand the reason you're not moving out of their way is because you want to see the concert and there's nowhere for you to shift to anyway (last time we stood at Coldplay, some horrible guy was trying to lean his whole weight on me to move me out the way and nearly knocked me over); you have to get there stupidly early to get near the front; once you're in its near impossible getting to the bar. seating: pros: you can turn up when you like coz your seat's already reserved; you're not gonna get trampled because you have your own pre-defined space; you can tuck your bag under your seat and forget about it. cons: you don't always get to stand up; its dead difficult dancing sat down.

if you search through the coldplaying.com photo galleries there's a photo of Chris holding a sign in his mouth. That sign says something like Hello coldplaying.com on it. Ian knows more about it than me but I think it was one of our US cousins took it along to aconcert a few years back.

Just finished "Elsewhere" by Gabrielle Zevin. Its an absolutely beautiful book. It reminded me of a "Lovely Bones" for teenagers. I love Gabrielle's thoughts about the arfterlife and think her ideas were ace in a nice, comforting wouldn't mind dying if its like that kind of a way.

I've not had chance to watch since I moved out of my Mum and Dad's house 10 years ago. Blimey!! Having typed that I don't believe how long ago it was, only seems like a couple of years ago that I was watching a "tables, and ladders, and chairs, oh my!" match between the Hardyz, Edge & Christian and the Dudley Boyz. I really need to get myself some SKY sorted.
