  1. hello hope you have a good time on the site. :)
  2. I would be too. :dozey: And I really didn't think that was a red card. Maybe give him a yellow and then warn him but not right away. The refs have been jumping the gun with all these cards....
  3. haha it does. :)
  4. Freaking make-up call. That was not a red card. I'm serious. You can flame me or call me stupid, but that was not a red card. Yes it was a late tackle but he did get some of the ball and some of the Italian players were just trying to get a call. And they did. I'm being dead serious when I say this- it is the United States versus the world. They were even talking about the added security and the fact that the U.S. doesn't even label their bus. I just hope the U.S. can pull off a win and show that we don't suck. This is ridiculous. One of the reasons I can't stand watching sports sometimes. Arghhh. Makes me mad. Sorry for my rant. :embarassed:
  5. hello. hope you enjoy the boards. :)
  6. :shocked2: That's amazing. I wish I could visit Berlin. Or anywhere in Europe for that matter. Hopefully this year I will be able to go to London. My A.P. European History class is planning a trip and hopefully some things will work out and I can go. Hope you enjoy the boards.:)
  7. Haha... sounds like me, rediscovering the boards and everything.:dozey: Hope your stay here is longer then the last time. And have fun. :P
  8. Ohh it's not bad around here. You'll be fine, and don't be afraid to ask. :) Most of us are very friendly. ;)
  9. Hello! Hope you have a great time here. I was just curious as to how you're from two cities? Care to share? If not, I'll see you around. And welcome to the boards. It's definitly a great place to be...
  10. Hello. I know some from Canada. Well actually a couple people. haha And I tend to make fun of her Canadian-ness. But she always laughs and I'm not sure why I'm telling you this. But happy posting and welcome to the boards. :D
  11. hahaha :laugh3: Just like any American soccer fan....:dozey:
  12. Ohh man. I was pulling for Poland. I really wanted them to win.
  13. What's that supposed to mean?
  14. haha I'm sorry. I was going to but Mississippian but I kept thinking of Paula Deen and how she like smothers her show in her southern accent. I'm from Philly/Jersey so I have no room to talk. :laugh3:
  15. haha I don't get ESPN2 so I have to listen to the Spanish channels. I love when a team scores.... But the games are on the replay all the time on those channels so I'm always confused it they're realtively live or not. :dozey:
  16. Landon Donovan. :stunned: :wacky: I lover him. :smug:
  17. Haha I don't think we're that bad. I think we have a good team, I just think there are way better teams. Give it some time and enjoy it for a bit. In a couple years, we'll be kicking everyone else's butt. (hopefully)
  18. Hey now, I don't think becoming a bit Americanized is anything to be ashamed of. ;) :laugh3: But I must admit, when Coldplay was first around and I was bit younger, I had no idea what the heck they were saying. I mean on the Live 2003 DVD, I had a hard time hearing and understanding Guy half the time. I don't know though. I guess it'd be like saying someone from Georgia trying to change their accent to more northern so they wouldn't be portrayed as being a stupid southerner or some crap like that. I must admit, I like Keane's new single but I won't be going to any concerts any time soon...
  19. haha I'm sorry for freaking out on you but today was rough with that game. There's this one kid in my class who is in love with Brazil and thus hates the American team and would not shut his mouth about the game. Quite annoying really. I almost decked him haha Although I'm sure that would go over well. :dozey: I'm just pretty aggrivated about the state of the team. I love soccer. And I wish the U.S. was better but I just can't take losing anymore. It's like any major league team that contiunally loses.... like the Flyers for instance. haha It's depressing. I'm just hoping for a new team on Saturday. Alrighty, I have to go and study for some finals tomorrow. I watched the game for 3 periods so I have to catch up. :laugh3:
  20. I like Roddick, but I never see him half the time. haha I don't know though, I don't like Federer for some reason and Nadal is just kind of creepy to me. haha I think it's the long hair....:laugh3:
  21. Yes that is why... You may think that I'm getting defensive, but the U.S. is just developing their soccer program. The U.S. qualified just like any other team. It's just like any other sport.... if any European team wanted to play the U.S. in American football, then we'd see the same thing. And also, the U.S. made a pretty good run last year. :\
