  1. I doubt Italy will spank them. I think today's game opened up the U.S.'s eyes because they played like crap. I'm being totally serious in saying that the U.S. is a pretty good team. We just have to start playing smart and actually bring the game to us instead of the other way around.
  2. Yea, but where'd you go, center city? Go to west philly or even camden. raising minimum wage would help more then you think. the way you worded your post a while back, you said that there will always be unemployment, blah blah something I foget. But it made it seem like you didn't really care about it and something shouldn't be done. :\ Now back to studying for finals....
  3. :shocked2: Come visit Philadelphia or Reading one day and maybe you'll realize that what the politicians and statistics say aren't true. And maybe if our minimum wage was raised, we wouldn't have families living below the poverty line. I think instead of accepting something, you should do something about it. Not just sit back and think that because it happens, it should be happening.
  4. Well I just think that Republicans and Liberals have called things out a bunch of times that its getting ridiculous. I just can't even stand the fact that Bush proposed this.
  5. Yes, but may I ask what you do at those jobs? Those jobs may be great for what education and experience you have but for a person who has an associate's degree in business or something to work at McDonald's is not a job. Being unemployed is something you can control but sometimes its something you can't control. I mean, its about many stupid things but I think people seem to lump together too much and fail to see the people who are trying to find jobs but can't find something they went to school for or are able to live off of instead having to depend on unemployment. Just my opinion. I don't want to come across as to bashing your job. :\
  6. I like Sweden's whole uniform. Always interesting to see bright yellow people running around. haha
  7. :\ I wanted Poland....
  8. I've resorted to watching the matches on the spanish channel because I don't get ESPN2. The England match today was pretty boring. But I liked the Sweden match. USA on Monday. Ohh man, I'm getting excited. :)
  9. In My Place? I think that's a pretty good choice... May go listen to it now. haha
  10. R- Reading.....Pennsylvania :)
  11. That, antsmarching.org, and the road page on their website all crashed at the same time tuesday night because of all the volume. People on boards like to play setlist games and predict the setlist for each night. It's pretty entertaining. I just like seeing what songs they're playing. :laugh3: Good news is I'm going on June 23rd. :smug: And I got some pretty good seats. The section right in front of the stage 20 rows back in dead center. I thought it was pretty good with it being close to the date. :dozey:
  12. I saw this exact thing on a DMB messageboard. I personally thing they're similar, but wouldn't go as far as saying they're the same.
  13. haha I honestly didn't think it'd matter if I said anything. :laugh3:
  14. i think i'm a bit biased...;)
  15. ants just crashed as did the site! :stunned: I need to know the setlist haha
  16. how often people change no two remain the same why things dont always turn out as you plan these are things that i dont understand yea these are things that i dont understand I particularly like that section. Although it depends what mood I'm in or what song I'm listening to. I usually find a new found lyric every week from Coldplay that I find utterly amazing. :)
  17. Hello. I'm Beth from Philadelphia. :D
  18. heath ledger? I just watched 10 Things I Hate About You. I love that movie. :D By the way, I saw the Da Vinci Code and absolutely loved it. I didn't read the book but my mom did so I had an idea about what was going on. I was always asking her who was a good guy and who was a bad guy. I also am in love with Tom Hanks so I thought he did a good job. Ian McKellon was pretty good I thought too. He definitly threw me. I thought he was a good guy too. It wasn't a bad movie. Definitly enjoyable. I think the critics were looking to bash the movie. But it's a tough book to re-create. That's why it's fiction. :dozey:
  19. I found my brother's old Coldplay concert ticket when we were cleaning out his dorm today. Twas quite sad. :\
  20. I love how ESPN won't even post an article about him anymore. Makes me freaking sick how all they care about is the injury and if he is going to live or die, but when they know that he has good chance of surviving, then they go back to baseball and basketball. I know there are more pressing issues then this, but they can atleast give you an update. This is why I hate ESPN.
