During one of those awkward silences just say "So.. want to have sex?" See how she reacts. If she says "what!??!!?" you can laugh and say "I don't like silences I had to end it!" If she reacts by kissing you, then you know. :P

do you never think "she could be the one?" though? I mean, yeah... 17 is young (I'm 17 in 48 minutes... :P) but you never know when you meet the right person. Could be 13, could be 30. Surely you must think "What if?". But, if you think it'd ruin the friendship, play it your way. :)

Hmm.. Ideally... 25 or so... for marraige. A year into marriage would come the first child. In an ideal world.

From my perspective (as in; the person who's gonna be doing the proposal) it would have to be somewhere that meant something special to me and my girlfriend (and hopefully eventual fiancé :P). Like, could be the place we first met, first went out, first... something else. I wouldn't propose at some random restaurant cause it's so.... unorigional. I'd rather do something unique that slightly suprised the girl. Although, not so suprising that they shout "OH MY GOD NO!" That would just be... bad. Depends on girl though :P So yah... Girly thread. I leave now.
