  1. You know you're obsessed when the only reason you really want to get a great job and have lots of money is so that you can basically tour Europe... with the band. (If they play in Milan, you go to Milan and hang out and then go to the concert [with rockin' seats of course]... then repeat with the next city they go to)
  2. ^
  3. I really wish I could go to the Orlando show, seeing as how they're not coming back to Atlanta so it'll probably be another 2 years before I get to see them again. But I entered the Orlando presale and lost out. My only hope's General Sale now, but the only way my mom is going to let me go all the way to Orlando to see them is if I get really awesome seats. Well here's to hoping. :/
  4. ^ Indeed. And they had to schedule more Canadian gigs because the tickets were snatched up so quickly.
  5. I agree with an_cat, Coldplay plays it way too safe when it comes to videos. When they branched out a bit with "The Scientist" and "God Put A Smile..." and "Trouble" (Both versions) it resulted in some of their best videos ever. They're insecurties and fear of being "arty and pretencious" are draggin' them down! I'm hoping this video is just... insane. Really. ...*Is excited* I want it nowwww!!
  6. They played it for their pre-release gigs but then took it off. I'm sure it'll make a reappearance before '07 closes out.
  7. Well at Atlanta Chris switched around to give shout outs to all the big musical artists that lived in Georgia. Something like: Give me Elton John and REM Give me Lil' John and somethingsomething... And also said something like "Give us lots of love Because we've got Georgia on our minds" And I know at Glastonbury he changed the lyrics to address the horrible weather: "Oh give me weather that does no harm Micheal Eavis and Worthy Farm Oh give me mud up to my knees The best festival in history" And thhhheennn... at Koko: "Give me love and let me know Coldplay's biggest fans come to Koko" :D Those some ones I can think of strait off my head. I hope someone can reply with a more accurate set of lyrics from the Atlanta show. It was so amazing that I was in a sort of haze the whole time and don't remember much in the way of 'details'. Hope that helps! Oh, and you're totally right on the live thing. My friends wonder why I have so many live songs of their's and that's exactly why. :)
  8. "How You See The World" huh? I really, really, REALLY want to know what it is. I'm crazy.
  9. ^ Seriously! What is this? Should I be out in Atlanta right now because he's just waiting for me to bump into him on MARTA?
  10. I'd HAVE to say something to him though. But I'd try to be as polite as possible. I had a dream one time that I saw Will on a plane and I whispered to him so as not to attract any unwanted attention to him. If I saw him in a restraunt I think I'd just walk past his table like I was going to the bathroom or something, so as not to call any attention to myself and then backtrack and politely (and quietly) ask him for an autograph and leave so I wouldn't disrupt his night. There's no way I'd ask for a picture though if he was eating (especially with his wife). I wouldn't want to a) call any attention to him and have him mobbed b) completly disrupt his dinner. That wouldn't be good.
  11. Yeah, what is that? Is that anew instrument thingy they added to their set? If so I'd love to know what it is! Anybody who went to that show know what it is? *Is dying*
  12. You know you're obsessed when you print out tickets from Ticketmaster and as soon as their out of the machine (still warm) you rub them all over your face. ...>.>
  13. Thanks Alpha! Totally agree with the picture comparison. :) And egghead... I do believe I see Jonsi in your avatar. As in the brilliant main siger to the brilliant band Sigur Ros.
  14. alphaskye, I was there. At Philips... in that buidling... on that night. Wow. And also, can you please post the original picture of your icon if you have it? It's beautiful!
  15. Aww. :( I'm so sorry. I can totally sympathsize with you with not going to a Coldplay concert. I might not be able to go to the Orlando concert and it'll be my last concert until they come back. It does feel very, very bad. :( I really hope you figure it out! Cheers and good luck!
  16. Yeah, which is why I didn't make this thread asking what they're waiting for with the DVD when no one knows. -_-;; And another thing, is that they're still releasing singles from X&Y. Why would they release a DVD to overshadow their still relatively new album? They didn't release the live 2003 DVD until A Rush of Blood was properly supported. And please try not to reply back with a smart remark, I'm just trying to provide some idea as to why they haven't released it yet, which, I thought, is what you wanted by making this thread.
  17. A) Who said that they wanted to release one from an outdoor show? B) They're probably making this one longer and better than the 2003 one. Besides, A Rush of Blood was released in 2002 and they didn't relese the DVD until late 2003. They'll release it when they want to.
  18. I really, really, REALLY like the first one. For some reason. There's something very arty and exciting about it. Weird. Thanks for posting!
  19. Oh, thescientist, that sounds like utter contentment in my opinion. *Sighs happily* I think I may just take after your example. :) And Mary, can I ask why you have 1 pound in your signature?
  20. She travels with them alot (Maybe not ALL the time). And yes with Apple. She's normally at 90% of their shows. I know she was at the Atlanta show I went to. And I know the other member's wives/girlfriends do as well. Since they're so big now, they can afford and have the accomedation to allow their spouses to travel with them. It really would be absurd just to stay at home three months with only long distance phone calls between each other while your husband was on tour in North America. or something.
  21. That's complete crap. A) She cries all the time? B) If the baby's due in March that would mean that she would be VERY pregnant and we would be seeing pictures of her and her swollen tummy. It's just a tabloid making things up... as usual. They just can't get over the fact that Chris and Gwyn don't whore themselves out to the public and have a perfectly happy marriage. And plus... she travels with the band... so... that totally just defeats that whole article? And really... what friend of Gwyneth's would really be talking to tabloids. I just love how they always use these nameless, obscure sources for everything. Honestly guys, don't beleive it until you have a reliable source for this stuff.
  22. She must be an icon genius. :P What's your LJ name while we're on the subject?
  23. Indeed mandy. :sneaky: (Oh, by the way... I love you're icon. Whoever made it? :P )
