I can kindof realate to what you're saying, but trust me, it will return. You've had little under three years to spend with one (or two) album(s). That long of time with a collection of 11+ songs can generate quite a few emotional strings that latch on to the albums and won't let go, making a new album, no matter how amazing and well-crafted, pale in comaprison. It's your nostalgia talking. I've been through it, but once you've had X&Y for as long as Rush of Blood and Parachutes, you'll probably feel just the same way with X&Y as the others. :)

Wow... that's... well, that's more than impressive. Three week at number one is quite a feat for ANY band, let ALONE a British band in America. And it's been the number one album on iTunes for just as long. :) Congrats boys! :kiss:

Why do you think I'm here now? That board is filled with nothing but rude olbies that have superiority complexes and trolls trying to convert all of Coldplay's 329573201780175830009032s of fans to Oasis-ism/Radiohead-ism/otherbandhere-ism. And also fans that can't ever just sit back and enjoy the music. It's quite infuriating And I came here and I like it much better. Okay... so he's trying to prove that the Dressy Bessy drummer is better than Will, so the example that he uses against him is the plainest drum part I think I've ever heard. It's just pounding. I could do that if I wanted. And also... he seems to think that since Dressy Bessy is more "peppy" or makes people "happy" or whatever... that it automatically makes it better than Coldplay? Er... no man, that's just a different style of music. :angry:
