  1. I was there. I queue from 9.30 in the morning until the gig started (12 hours before the show). It was my fifth time watching Coldplay but, for the friends that came with me, it was the first time. I was standing in the middle, very near to the stage and besides the two cuts at the beggining, we didn't notice any sound problem. My friends were very impressed with the show and they thought the setlist was great. They said that they will come to see them again when they return to Barcelona. I was very happy with the show too. Maybe not his best, but it was a good gig and it was worth every minute waiting in the queue and every euro I spent in my ticket. When I got home, that's when I started to see that some people didn't hear well. So, my point is, some people DID enjoy the gig and had fun.
  2. During Life in Technicolor and Violet Hill, there where small sound cuts. You can see it here: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHHwhRowSi8]YouTube - Coldplay @ Barcelona 04/09/09 II[/ame] 0.07 / 0.27 / 0.56 (the video is not mine) Mmm... I don't think they record an entire gig with, at least, 20 cameras just for a behind the tour documentary. It is for something else. Something bigger.

  4. I hope they finally publish the DVD of Barcelona's gig so everyone can see that it was a very good show, despite those complains.
  5. Some of the pictures that I took: (This show will be recorded for the next Coldplay DVD) In my place Glass Of Water Viva la vida Lovers In Japan End of the first part Life in technicolor II
  6. I was very very near to the stage and the boys definitely noticed the sound problems. Chris looked to the side of the stage several times saying "f*ck" during Violet Hill. After that, the gig was great. I don't understand all the critics. I was standing in the front and it was great. I had friends seated on the sides and they said it was great too. There were a lot of cameras recording the show (6 or 7 only in the main stage!).
  7. Hey guys!! The pictures of the Animal Rights Protesters were NOT taken yesterday. I'm from Barcelona and that white bulding in the back of the photograph is the Espacio Movistar, so I guess the pictures were taken the 17th june (the free gig). Yesterday, the venue was in Palau Sant Jordi, a very different place of the city (Espacio Movistar: 1.500 people. Palau Sant Jordi: 18.000). I don't know if there were any protesters there, I didn't see them. I hope that this helps and excuse me for my bad english.
  8. It was the same setlist as Brixton.
  9. When Guy was banging that drum, they were playing Lost! The setlist was exactly the same as Brixton. It was a great show!!
  10. When and where will be the press conference?
  11. In VLV, do they really play something in those keyboards or just pretend to?
  12. ITF replied to nmsv's topic in Violet Hill
