I am with you with pretty much everything you just said an_cat. What is the point of war? Is it to say "look at me, look how many people I killed", to prove a point, to stop something happening? For a lot of it, the only explanation I can think of is, that someone just wants to cause mass destruction, to ruin lives because of an argument, its just disgusting. P.S. whats your name? :P

So today is ANZAC Day. I'm not sure if other countries know about it, but it is a day of commemoration when the ANZAC (Australian and NEw Zealand Army Corps) soldiers arrived at Gallipoli, Turkey during world war one in 1915. They were faced with impossible odds against the Turks and landed at a cliff with the Turkish soldiers waiting on top. They had no chance..... But thats not what I'm getting at. As I walked in the traditional March along with around 20 other schools through the streets I thought about the soldiers that went out to war. The youngest ANZAC, James Martin being 14 years and 9 months old. Many of them were under the age of 18. You had to be over 18 to enlist, the soldiers actually lied and said they were older so they could get the chance to go to war, to defend their country. I have never quite understood that. Would you go to war? I think the only way I would is if I had nothing left to lose, if it was fight or die, even if I had to go by law or something, I would probably hide. Am I a coward?
