I actually thought that pretty much everyone but the lead singer aren't TOTAL dickheads. But that's mainly because he was the only one who didn't come out to meet with the 7 of us who showed at the gig... :\ Figured he had a bit of a bruised ego, then. ah well. They were all really nice guys, especially Chris (forget what instrument he plays er lmfao bass I guess). He was nice to me lmfao. He laughed at my jokes... haha anyhoo.

They did come out and meet us and sign things for us, and I got 'Empire' for free. So it's all good. I felt bad, it was a free myspace one. There is NOTHING better live than screaming "FUCK 'EM!" with 70 people :laugh4: that song was INSANE live! It's the song where I snapped that shot of Josh freaking out with Stan ;) They were all REALLY into it. So was the whole crowd. Probably my favorite performance of any song, ever, live. :nice: That's a big compliment, but it blew me away. Plus that was the song when Stan almost killed me with his guitar, it went an inch from my face and he just went " :stunned: *mouths* sorry!!" and I laughed LMFAO it was scary though!!! OH GOD. That's my second favorite! haha. Just a classic, no doubt about it.

Yeah, to an extent I was the same. Even though it was Peter that drew me to the band and peeked my interest, it was Carlos that made it.... credible, I guess, for me to like it. If it had just been Peter's band I don't think I'd have been as into it. I really love some 'Shambles songs, but I just don't listen to the albums back to front like I do with DPT.... I think I definately do lean to DPT's side, musically. It just keeps me sane. I almost feel like I can never COMPLETELY throw myself into Babyshambles because if I do..... I'm just protected, that takes something away. It's difficult. At least I came into the Libertines after hte damage was done and there was no excuse to feel guarded. With DPT I don't get that, I really feel like I can trust them as a whole, and that's important with me. I'm seriously not saying ANYTHING negative about Peter or Shambles here at ALL cuz you guys know that I love them ;) But yeah, I've got to admit, if I had a last.fm DPT would be a lot higher :\ speaking of which, I should get one of those. I agree, dude. They're really just.... There's not a song I dislike, there's not a thing about them that I dislike. At all. They're just the nicest guys, so talented, they do great things for us fans, they're respectful, they show for their gigs, they release awesome stuff, and they record albums FAST for us. I love 'em a lot lately. :nice: Sometimes I think that all Libertines fans split into two categories, DPT fans and Shambles fans. I mean I'm definately definately a fan of both (looove Shambles) but... I really feel like I just connect a lot with DPT, I always have. It's kind of weird, I guess I've just always connected with Carl's lyrics. Both Peter's and Carl's have a LOT of meaning in my life, but Carl's speak to me in particular. I get where he's coming from, and they make total sense to me. I guess that just gives DPT that extra little emotional attatchment. It's also why I get so fucking mad when people neglect Carl and say he's not as good a song writer without Peter. I'm sorry, but that's bullshit. :\ phew! done! lmfao
