See, my school's actually kind of like that. I mean, it's not rough or anything.... But if you're really different, and one group of people decide they don't like you, that can translate into a LOT of people (relatively, since a lot isn't really a lot where I'm from lmfao). But yanno I've always been really nice to everyone, I've never made enemies, and I'm pretty respectful to anybody who comes up to me. So it's been easy for me to just be as different as I like. I'm just glad that I've got good friends who don't mind lmfao lmfao eeee, I'm so excited. I just hope I get into this school. I'm feeling confident, but yeah there's always a chance... so just keeping my fingers crossed. All the other places I'm looking at are similiar, though, and yanno, either way it'll be good to get out of a small town and PHYSICALLY find people who like the same stuff as me (cuz since I don't have anybody aroudn me that knows my music, I end up coming on here, which is why I'm always in this thread! haha). It's kind of weird, for me. I mean, if any of you guys saw where I'm from and all that, it's so NOT the Libertines lyrics. It's not any of that. I live in a really small, republican, all white and pretty closed-minded town, go to a really small high school where there's 112 kids in my graduating class, it's the smallest state, there's no clubs or real venues that you can go walk to, since I live out in the woods. It's just like... so NOT the London scene here :laugh4: But it's just so weird that I really can relate to the lyrics. I mean, it really was Arctic Monkeys who introduced me to the Libs, since the minute I got into them I just loved all of it. I guess I've always been that person who WOULD end up doing all the things in the songs, but just couldn't lmfao. So when I heard the Libertines, it was the same thing. I dunno, it's just sooo random sometimes when I think about it. No one in my entire school knows who the Libertines are/were. No one knows Shambles or Dirty Pretty Things, literally no one. I have an art portfolio that I made that I put pictures from NME all over (like Strokes, Libs, Razorlight, Kooks, Arctics, etc etc) and no one knows who they are. It's so random lmfao. Yeah, it hurts my brain too. I'm pretty much convinced they won't be here for a LONG time if anything. Ah well... I mean I don't need them to, it's just sort of a dream and all that. I really do think this is the time that's going to define a lot, a turning point of sorts. It just can't go on one way or the other any more, there has to be a change. And so far there has been.... but then it just all falls apart. Then songs are released, and it's great, then it falls apart again. It's just a constant state of confusion and all that. It's just tough, because it's us fans who always stick by him that end up getting hurt. But we keep coming back for more, haha. Goddamnit, I hope he realizes that. We deserve something. It's really weird, I'm not sure on the exact regulations, but there's definately really strict drug laws here. I think that it really depends on the charges, but he could possibly have his visa removed so he couldn't come here/stay here. It's possible that's happened, or may happen.... It just... it's depressing, definately. I was just thinking about it now and yeah, I mean I think that's what would keep them from coming here, definately. Not for lack of wanting to (well...... I'd like to think so...). I'd rather it BE that though, than it be that Peter just won't make the time, won't make his life work for us or doesn't feel it's necessary to come here. :\ I dunno, though, because everytime I've heard about an artist's visa being removed was because they had some bigger issue, like political or whatever.
