Community, isn't it? That's what's often missing from modern-day life, especially in the city. People go their own ways and don't help each other. It's all too superficial.

Wavertree was where one grandmother lived! I remember houses like Coronation Street, and broken glass set into the tops of the walls around each house. Otherwise it was Woolton - t'other grandmother. I remember Penny Lane (immortalised by the Beatles) and The Mystery - that wonderful park. Oh, and the Mersey Tunnel, of course!!!!!!

Jane, don't stop your sense of humour :) - it's great! Liverpudlians are renowned for their sense of humour - everyone knows that! My family came from Liverpool and I used to go there every year as a child to visit them all! Whereabouts do you live?

Snow is excellent. What a change from the rest of the weather - which is also excellent. Each season has its own merit, in my opinion, and each is welcome to me. Has your dad seen Capricorn One, where they pretend to go to Mars, but trick the astronauts and take them to the desert to a big hanger and then film it to the rest of the world as if its really Mars! Really clever, but I do think they went to the Moon. I WANT to believe they went to the Moon ......

Hey, but hey - life is what you make it, guys! Don't wait for things to happen - go out there and grab them!!! My God, life is just chock-a-block full of endless possibilities - y'know, magic DOES exist out there!!! Yay, go get it! I'm just an ordinary girl but I have discovered so many magical moments in my life so far - but they don't come cheap. You have to take the risk of being really badly burned sometimes. But so what? The risk is worth it when you find that precious stone! Just go for it - everyone should go for it! 2003? What fantastic things are going to happen THIS year, I wonder? And hey, if anything bad happens, well, you just get over it, don't you?
