  1. Waiting for my parking spot to open then heading over again. 6th show but first on the floor! Sent from my Nexus 6P using Coldplaying mobile app
  2. Just back to my hotel. Tired, but a few thoughts. Man it was such a great experience. I love Alessia Cara. Stargate was just playing pop songs with pretty lights. The stadium really has a nice intimate feel to it. This version of Everglow with just Chris was fantastic. It was my 5th time seeing them, 6th tomorrow. Took 3 friends who had never seen them before and they were blown away. There were many of us stuck at gate A for quite a while before they came around and directed people to other gates. Very frustrating. After the show we were talking past a long uber line when someone asked what they were waiting for, a man in the line exclaimed "We're still waiting to get in!". That was hilarious, I'm still giggling at it.
  3. Sorry to see you can't make it Jedi Leo, hopefully you can see them soon! Set times are out! Found a little vid of soundcheck from last night.
  4. Someone got this neat drone footage of the stadium this morning:
  5. Seeing some tweets that the band is doing their rehearsal/sound check. No song reports just yet.
  6. (not mine) Source Looks mostly complete today. Should have everything together tomorrow. Makes me think there will be a rehearsal/soundcheck Friday night, especially with the 2 week break plus the show being live streamed.
  7. I have one of those! I love it!
  8. Personally I'd go for 19-H. It's in the stands, but get's you above the crowd with a great view. The floor seat is great as well, but everyone is the same level, so you have to try peaking over/between heads (a bigger problem if you are short like me). Also, 19-H should have a good view of c-stage, while Floor L won't.
  9. I've been wearing a Coldplay button around work for the last two months. Nobody has said a thing about it. I'm in a warehouse with hundreds of people and not one other coldplay fan has come out.
  10. You can try to call Ticketmaster and see if they will relocate you a bit closer. Some fans at other shows were able to.
  11. You probably have a better shot meeting them before the show. Hang around the back area by the stage trucks and catch them as they arrive. Even though there is a second show, they are out of there within minutes of leaving the stage. Chris lives in LA, he'll be home before many of us reach our cars.
  12. I'm a routine visitor and occasional poster over there. It's a great little community, I'd say most of the active users are also members here.
  13. Emails are out about parking and such. $40/car. Lots open at 3pm. Doors at 5:30. There's also parking at an off-site lot for $20 plus $5 shuttle. I got parking in a similar area for $13 on parkwhiz, anyone can park elsewhere or take Metro and hop on the shuttle to the stadium.
  14. I wouldn't be surprised if that were true. LA is logistically the best place to setup for a live video stream, if indeed it is video. I've yet to see anything about it. Now, while searching around, I did find this. Apparently, Stargate will do a short set before the show.
  15. Two weeks! Still seeing some tickets available. I've noticed a few too many people confused by the sections here. Someone was trying to sell section 4-H tickets as floor seats, thinking they are in section H. The seat maps aren't exactly clear. Hopefully nobody gets screwed by that.
  16. Still seeing some floor seats available, I see a pair in section K. Obviously the stage layout hasn't been updated. So we can expect some more to be released in that shuffle.
  17. Looks like more tickets released in the 100 level. 12 entire rows in section 129/132 are available, HOWEVER... they are probably obstructed by the speaker tower.
  18. I've been reading in reviews from previous events that parking is $30-$40, and getting out of the lots is a nightmare. I found some much cheaper parking on parkwhiz, reserved a spot at a garage just south of the stadium for $13. A little over a mile to walk, but I wanna loose weight anyway.
  19. Best place to start might be local venues helping setup events. A friend of mine works part-time at an arena helping setup concerts and other events. For the most part the band-crew sets up the stage and lighting and all that fun stuff. A venue crew will help out with load-in, load-out, setting up chairs, getting the band crew integrated into the stadium/arena systems and such.

I loved the Blue Danube Waltz. Got a great video of it from Anaheim. Love everyone on the floor swaying to it, I couldn't help but sway too. The way the song builds and builds and then the lights cut out. Perfect!
  21. One of the photographers I follow released this amazing picture and video taken from a drone outside of the stadium
  22. An update on my idea to document/photograph the stage setup: To my surprise, the Rose Bowl got back to me and said "This is not a problem". They'll be in contact with me as the date gets closer to go over the details.
  23. I saw tweets from a number of people saying they got upgraded to within the first few rows. The guys who were chosen for the intro video also got upgraded to the first row. So it looks like it is still a thing! Just search twitter "Coldplay upgraded" or something similar.
