Security were great, yes they search bags, the turnstiles at Emirates are hi-tech your ticket has an embed rfid if you hold it up to light you can see it, and it is scanned by the turnstile and hey presto opens! so nothing ripped off ticket, was there fri/sat and it was fanstatic. Was easy to get in and out the security there are used to dealing with 60000 every week at football matches and were really helpful unlike a lot of venues I have been to!

Have seen them over a dozen times and taken plenty of photos, as long it is a small digicam you should be fine but you do get some over zealous security who like nothing better than to tell people to stop taking photos so just keep your eyes open ! Cheers and enjoy!

Standing area usually get wristbands, not the flashing ones! so unless you have one you can't get into standing area, not sure if this is the case for emirates but more than likely.

Empty seats I doubt, just check ebay the "reschduled" dates are already on sale at much inflated prices! I am sure a lot of people who can't go will re-sell on ebay. I think it is unlikely a supplier has let them down, more likely the band or band member has made a commitment that required the schedule change. The band are going to be in the UK for all the dates, the tour kit will all be here, the venues were booked so what caused this "reschedule" ? I really hope it is not something to do with the band, because if it is it shows a total lack of respect for the UK fans who made them what they are. Cheers Warby

No, I am afraid no insurance. I would like a reasonable explanation as to why they changed the dates, I am not sure what "beyond the bands control" means. Looks like we will be going to Glasgow but not seeing Coldplay. Not a happy fan, seen them dozen plus times, so thanks guys for spoiling a weekend and wasting my hard earned cash. Warby

VERY UNHAPPY Was going to the SECC on the 5th, is Girlfriends birtday have book flights from London and Hotels which are not refundable, what sort of scheduling problem is beyond their control. I go to a lot of concerts and fair enough the odd one has been moved due to illness. I think this shows a total lack of respect for paying fans. I can not go on the 9th either, so cheers guys, Just broke the new to the other half and she is well F**** off. Warby :-(

Interesting that they have different scetions for standing i.e. A!, Bx and Cx not just general admission! Assume it will be the same for all shows? We all want to be in A1! Cheers Warby

Should be a good one Hi Guys, I've been to the IOW for the last two years and they've been fantastic weekends. Now that the chaps are playing I am quite excited, I do like the Foo's as well. I'm off with 3 mates, doing the campervan thing, I will be trying not to fall of the river taxi this year and twating my ankle and tearing all the tendons in my shoulder (long story, requires beer, etc). Hope to meet some of you guys this time and get some more pics. Also know a good pub walking distance from the campsite, if anyone fancies an early Sunday Beer and Lunch? Just got back, I'm afraid I have to say very average, it may be just Earls Court but the night just did not hit the spot for me. The lights were great, the sound was good (esp for Earls Court) but there was just something missing. I know they have been on tour for a long time now, maybe to long. I think it's the 10th time I've seen them and it was the weakest show I've seen. Don't get me wrong here they were still good, but just not what I was hoping for.
