Just out of curiosity, are Coldplay leaks considered expensive, cheap, or average?

It's a song by Joseph Arthur that Michael Stipe covered with Chris. The band later performed it at Austin City Limits (the TV show, not the festival) in 2005. Both versions ended up on Stipe's Gulf Coast Relief EP in 2006.

As a fan of both, I must say I like short and strong albums better. Viva la Vida alone covered more artistic ground for Coldplay than its three predecessors combined.

I don't think so, if the album is coming in September the gap between its release and the lead single should be smaller.

I think I said this already but there is no reason to release anything before the Friday preceding Big Weekend. As for the "rumours", they are nothing but fans making delusional theories.

I think the lead will come out in the Friday before Big Weekend, there is no reason to release anything in April or early May. Besides, festivals are nothing but radio/television-level marketing tools for Coldplay at this point, public-wise they have demand for 20 Wembley Stadium shows.

It's kind of hilarious how Azealia Banks likes Coldplay, they truly have all the rappers in a chokehold.

Azealia Banks confirmed that part on her Instagram (she used to date him) and Live Nation's statement very clearly sides with Coldplay, I bet this is going to end in an out-of-court agreement.

Of course we are just being conspiracy theorists here but Dave Holmes being the leaker would not surprise me at all actually. You don't end a 20 years old relationship over touring expenses. Coldplay are loyal and tight knit. Even the media was shocked with the lawsuit.

I don't mind the band taking it easy with the schedule. People are going to complain about the album no matter what, so they should at least be happy with it before releasing.

Chris mentioned that the writers strike affected the film, so I think they are still on that phase. Besides, there are more shows for 2025. We're only getting film stuff in 2026 and that is the most optimistic scenario.

That would happen with or without the leaks to be honest. The most controversial opinion you can have in the Coldplay fandom is liking Coldplay.

As for the United States, I think the 17 concerts were already too much and I hope Moon Music's TV and radio promo is more centered around Europe. But then again, being nice even towards people who hate them is part of the band's image.

Phil teased a second Asian leg after the band performed in Thailand and French media reported that they would do six shows at Stade de France if it wasn't for the Olympics. The tour will be going well into 2025 and I wouldn't be surprised if a few 2026 dates are scheduled.

I don't believe the whole 12 albums thing to be honest. I think they might just take a long ass break like the Rolling Stones did between A Bigger Bang (2005) and Hackney Diamonds (2023).

From the way Chris has talked in the past few years on interviews I wouldn't say they are necessarily trying to please their fan base, just wanting to spread love and freedom instead of finger-pointing. It makes them sound like hippies? Sure! But while we experience the togetherness and joyfulness of their concerts only 2-6 times per tour, the band have felt it 132 times in MOTS era alone, I would probably be a peaceful hippie in their place too.

I heard about some stuff taken from when she was like, 10-15 years old. I won't put my hand in the fire for her but I do think she changed. Either way, Coldplay probably don't make background checks.

The Camila Cabello rumours on social media started over the leaked snippet and one of her "insiders" used the fake tracklist published a few pages ago on this thread, take them with a grain of salt.
