I was wondering if there was an FOTC thread and there is. I love the guys, saw them on both nights at Radio City. The 2nd night was ridiculous, the encore was a sing-a-long to Cellotape. I'm hoping for a 2nd US leg of the tour but it's highly unlikely. As for the show, the 2nd season is not as strong as the first but it has its moments. I see some of the posters here are Aussies, how do you feel about all those Aussie jokes?

VIP Seats are massively expensive and it looks like the Streamliner($189/day) one is not that good since they don't offer an option for where you want to stand. Only the ridiculously expensive platinum one($439) has that option.link These sound like a complete rip-off aside from the private bathroom lines.

I'm stupid, Long Islanders will probably be better off taking the PATH from Penn to Hoboken then to the Light Rail. Total Cost: $1.75/RIDE for PATH.

Been there but for the Hicksville train. The driving would cost as much as taking the train, subway, and ferry there with the tolls. You need to buy a parking pass in advance from ticketmaster too. I'm planning on taking public transportation there unless people here are going to carpool. The ferry is just going to be a long wait if they don't plan enough boats. It's at the same pier as the Ikea Brooklyn ferry, down the street from the South Street Seaport.

I think I'm going to volunteer with Oxfam for this concert. I'm too short to see anything anyways. I want to see Vampire Weekend on Friday but that's the only other band I really want to see. They also got a lot of the side characters from Flight of the Conchords on the comedy stages.

FINALLY!!!!!! This is better than last year's lineup(only Radiohead was a must see last year). I still only would want to see 2 of the 3 days. And I happened to be on Governor's Island and overheard the music on one of the days. Hopefully it'll be better organized in terms of transportation this year, not enough ferries last year. Got my tickets today as well. Yay! The Live Nation tickets are so huge in comparison to TM.
