I'm fairly positive the lower tickets (100, 200, 300) were not released today otherwise there would be listings on stubhub and ebay already. There's only 13 listings on Stubhub for tickets in those sections and they are mostly in the upper rows of those sections. Even the best single ticket was in row W towards the sides. Edit: I just calculated the extra fees are $38.05 total for a $97.50 ticket. That's friggin ridiculous. I don't know who sucks more now, Ticketmaster of Live Nation.

300 Section, what Row and how many seats?

30+ minutes of pasting "strings" into pw box and typing in captchas.

I have a program that lets me bring up multiple windows and I opened 4 and it still brought up all not great seats. With GA Pit listed in for the tickets I would wait until tomorrow.

Hmm, it just brought up section 400 row GG.

Still can't believe they are playing Scranton. But the best lower section tickets I brought up were in the front 3 sections Row W. My co-worker is seeing if her brother that works at Clear Channel can get tickets but I'm not holding my breath for that since he has been highly unreliable even for my co-worker. I'll be trying tomorrow if I don't get anything good today.

The best I got was a single in Section 100 Row W. The best triple I got was 400 row JJ. I didn't buy any. Disappointing presale.

I think I will hold off until tomorrow. There's no way all the tickets for 100,200, 300 are already gone.

with fees it's $135.55/ticket, yikes. friggin fees.

Nothing in front 3 sections at all, not even for single ticket. they must be saving those for general sale.

a combination of stomach uneasiness(from possible food poisoning) and general nervousness is not good.

Christa: I'll meet up at your place to road trip to Hartford. Last time, I went to Hartford I ended up making a weekend of it. In add'l I waited around what I think was the back door of the XL Center for a while, all we saw was Santogold. Not that anyone really came up to her or anything. That performance was too weird.

Thanks for the intel, Chelsea. I am assuming Live Nation is handling the ticket selling for this concert, I'm more of an expert with Ticketmaster so this is going to throw me for a new one. The site has been kind of wonky sometimes since they have only started selling tickets since January. If anyone is desperate for a really good seat, I would try for a single ticket to see what comes up. Nothing great on the secondary market yet, so it doesn't seem like too many people have a season pass for the venue. What's the game plan for this venue otherwise?

Darien Lake is not NYC. :angry: Though I'm happy for my WNY peeps since they haven't played there in a long time. They are playing Hartford on my bday(5/23), who wants to go on a roadtrip. It'll be my second time in Hartford solely for Coldplay.

Driving there sucked, taking the train from Penn then bus there wasn't terrible. Just took forever to get back. I am totally going to see U2 though. This cheered me up a little bit.

The closest one to us is mansfield, ma. That place is not close enough to boston.

For those that didn't get good tickets, the tickets aren't reselling too ridiculously on ebay. So I would advise people to look. And there's still some not terrible single seats left on ticketmaster.

I figured mine out. It works with ticketmaster ca and not us.

I can't get anything with ticketmaster. weird.

I wish I could go and the excuse would be that I'm visiting relatives. It's still cheaper to see Coldplay in HK than to see a Chinese concert in the US.
