  1. Um, HELLO. "Morning Bell Amnesiac" ANYONE?!??!?!
  2. Why can't ANY band do that is the question.
  3. that's what makes them the Beatles I spose.
  4. I know that a few Radiohead songs have been influenced by Beatles songs. (Paranoid Android influenced by Happiness is a Warm Gun, Karma Police has a bit of Sexy Sadie). But I think it's stupid to compare them. They're are my top two bands as well. I think the Beatles are timeless, and I don't have to put myself in the shoes of someone back then. But I imagine it was even crazier to hear that kind of stuff back then (before the 60's were even over!). I think The Beatles are phenomenal even in this day. Uhhhh. I'm rambling. Whoops.
  5. You forgot to say "but it's just my opinion" at the end :laugh3:
  6. Yep. I don't think it's fair to any band to be compared to The Beatles. Unless I'll hear a Ben Kweller and think "gosh he sounds like Paul McCartney." In that case, it's fair. But I will admit, whenever I seep into a Beatles mood, I start to think that Radiohead's music is terribly bland compared to it. And I live for Radiohead.
  7. I think if it came with the Vinyl that would make my little inner fangirl have a heart attack

My favorite response of this whole thing is Ren's on the first page where he says simply "This is bullshit." :laugh3:

Yeah but he's treating his own opinion as the word of god. and we just can't have that. it's frustrating.
  18. thescientist06 replied to a post in a topic in The World Of Music
Of course I got his sarcasm  I was just impressed that Radiohead was his most listened-to artist. Seee?

Good to see Radiohead is so loved by thou. And Arcade Fire too. Woo!
  24. HOMG ANYWAY... This evening I was driving and what should come on the radio but THERE THERE. Usually when Radiohead gets radio play (which is not unheard of on my local public station), it's something from OKC or IR. But THERE THERE?!? That song is in my top 5 and it just gets me pumped every time I hear it. I wont lie, I let out a very fangirly scream. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Also because not FIFTEEN minutes earlier I had listened to that song on my ipod whilst exercising. It was at the very end of the playlist, so it was literally the last RH song I heard before that came on. Amazing, right? That's my awesome Radiohead moment of the day. [/fangirl ramble]
