thanks by safe i mean if they had gone too far off the rails with their sound at that point they my have lost quite a following. its safer to stick to something closer to home because they are a massive band but if x&y were too daring or less conventional than what it is wouldnt have been as appreshiated or allow them to now move on and make something very different now they have done the croud pleasing thing. I dont mean it to sound a bad way or that i am slaging them off in anyway...just saying what i believe

See the great thing about my work is that i wrote about coldplay (with britpop and stuff) in my dissertation, then make my own coldplay video for another class, worked with new bands for my collaberation class...its just been a great music orientated year.. youll be lucky to find a hot englishman that isnt gay/famous/married or an arsehole.....not to crush your hopes.....im sure there has to be a nice one, but the ones ive meet are usually wankers (putting it nicly) im just stressed with uni...only got 3months then its all over and i have to graduate, meaning im 21 going out into the real world to find a proper job...im quite scared. But mainly stressed from doing my work, its so hard and i spend so much time on it ive only been out drinking once in the last 2months....its just wrong, i have to drink indoors by myself in the middle of the day. I think i need to start going to AA meetings! so you only have one month left...know what your doing for the summer yet?? something really fun i hope

me too...people seem to have lost thier instinct for good music and instead believe what MTV shows them is the best they have to offer. Singles artists are always going to come and go and stop good muscicians such as coldplay, simply for the fact they are made to produce that one song and then bugger off. Where as coldplay are more about good music, getting people back to buying records because the listeners know they will be getting something worth their money. Unlike these one hit *cough*wonders*cough* that people just download somewhere offline.

ok, not to sound weird but i dont think i would have want any of them...Cause it shows coldplay are so much better than all the other 'Singles artists' that plague our charts today. Coldplay are so much more! i think proving your album is great is far more inportant that singles charts, and thats proven by the people that beat coldplay to number one...Darius where is he now?
