  3. "13.09.01 A MESSAGE I don't think I appreciated the full impact of the recent events in America until I sat down and tried to collect my thoughts and write something on the website. By now, nearly everyone in the world will have seen the footage of the catastrophic events that took place in New York, Washington and Pittsburgh and these are images which will stay in the minds of the people of the world for ever. Images which wouldn't look out of place in a Hollywood disaster movie, and ones that no one ever thought they would see in real life. Watching the TV as I write this, the speculation is that 20,000 people lost their lives, people from all around the world who knew nothing of the grievances the terrorists had with the West, who didn't understand the nature of and the reasoning behind the conflict, but who were the target of these attrocious acts of terrorism. On a global scale, the full impact of these events won't be realised for years to come, but what is immediately obvious is the impact on the friends and families of the innocent people who lost their lives. As a band , our thoughts, hearts and prayers go out to absolutely everyone who was involved or had friends or family involved in the tradgedy. And also wishes of a speedy rescue mission for the sake of those still alive under the rubble and for those families who still have loved ones unaccounted for. New York has always been a special place for our band as it has for many bands, it is also a place in which we have many friends as I'm sure many of you reading this will, once again our hearts, minds and prayers go out to all of them. Whatever the outcome of the next few weeks be certain that these events have changed the modern world forever, and the ease with which they were able to take place is perhaps the most scary thought of all. It has made it clear in my mind that all it takes is a few people to create such massive destruction and pain and suffering, and that life is far too short and unexpected to hold things back, to procrastinate or to not live every day like it could be your last. W." I love Will, that was years and years ago, but still very touching.

  17. My friend Garrett and I arrived at the Palace, and went in to find out seats, When we found them, we were a little bummed out, because it was side stage, But we later realized they werent so bad at all. :D To me anyway. Fionna Apple came on stage, and I was excited to hear her live, but then she started playing, and it was obvious that she hates opening, She would be better for smaller stages, but however, she was not very good. She swayed back and forth like a druggie, and wore a flowered moomoo  So about a half an hour or so later, Coldplays instrument men( ) came on and started setting up, I was getting pumped. But nothing compared to when they came out. :D So a little while later, The lights dimed, and I started screaming, and going nutty, they still didnt come out, Felt like hours, but the lights go out, and the Palace loudens up, I screammmmm and go completly bananas, Coldplay takes the stage, I and like 2 other people in my section stand up..(which kinda made me mad, but I still had a good time) and I am dancing, blah blah blah, Coldplay sounded completey amazing, perfect, just perfect, lol, and still no one is staning up, so Politik begins, my fave, and that too is amazing. So Coldplay kept playing and finally everyyyone stands up for SOS, as if the other songs didnt measure up, but then it seemed like everything really started.. I dont know the exact playlist, but I do know there were to much singles, and no A Message. I only took a few pics cos my camera sucks, Heres the audience .. Heres balloons during Yellow, which looked stunning, Here the band, I cant find Chris though.. lol Heres when the dumbass floor people threw the balloons on stage instead of popping them.. , Chris started popping them with the guitar. :P  :) :D Thats pretty much all the good pics, but there wasnt too much CJ luv :( But they did lie down for White Shadows which made me go bonkers. They all played beautifully, and I have never seen arms move as fast as Wills, I never really realized how talented he is. :D I was amazed. And Guy kept drinking on stage of course. Which gave Garrett and I a good laugh.. Chris was making jokes about his hair, Saying he looked like a BeeGee.. And said he was going to Birmingham to get a haircut. I was about to go hunt him down. But it was an amazing show, Garrett was just as impressed as I was, and the only thing I can really complain about is the lack of respect the floor people showed Coldplay. Standing there not even swaying.
  18. She wore a moomoo, and rocked back and forth like she was on drugs, And it was clear that she hated being there. I need to work on my review. I EFFING LOVE COLDPLAY. :D :D :D :D :D :D
