  1. Did you listen to the Foo Fighters livelounge? They covered Lyla.....better than Oasis' IMO  **chuckles and listens to it again** Nic :o
  2. (cheers :P ) Train
  3. Kinks
  4. Feeder anyone? Any fans? They're my favourite band (Coldplay coming a very close second mind) went to see them in March at Manchester but am very excited at their new tour announcements...coming to my home town :wink3: which....I'm hyper like a small child about :D awoooo I think Yesterday Went Too Soon is mny favourite album, but Comfort In Sound is deffinately my favourite song, it's lyrics are beautiful. Great song Nic :o
  5. I loved "Strange and Beautiful" and went out and bought the album which had it on (the name escapes me....I'm thinking it was just "Aqualung" though and I've gotta say I was quite dissapointed :/ apart from "Good Time's Gonna Come" Love the video for "Strange and Beautiful" though Nic :o
  6. I think sometimes they can be a little overrated, but in saying that I think that sometimes Coldplay can be too....don't get me wrong I love Coldplay and have a liking for Oasis but I wish the media would just let the music speak for itself rather than focussing on the Gallaghers or Chris (a large majority of people not even interested in the music can name the Gallaghers and know Chris Martin is the lead singer of Coldplay but can they name the rest of either band? Or indeed know how many other members there actually are in the bands?) both bands last albums had SO much hype in the press and I know it's always gonna happen with big bands such as these too but I wish it'd just ease up a bit, lots of people expect for the albums to be either the most amazing one they've released OR the rubbish one which is nothing of what they once were...why not just wait and give the album a listen through just as if you've never heard the band before, thats what I try to do so no judgement can be passed through media persona's or high/low expectations. **breathes out** Sorry, rant over! Btw I'm seriously not attacking either band, its just my opinion above...I'm a huge fan of Coldplay and, even though I admit I've not heard everything by Oasis I'm a fan of them too (went to see them in July...very good night!) and absolutely love "Cast No Shadow" and "Don't Go Away" (especially the acoustic version...as with "Stand By Me") I do enjoy when Noel sings, lovely voice. Nic :o
  7. Sonic Youth
  8. I'd prefer Talk to be released over White Shadows, even though I do like White Shadows just that little bit more....just want to keep it just on the album. If that makes sense.
  9. Fingers crossed  Hey guys :) **waves**
  10. Ooh they are very good....a lot better than my shameful attempts! lol The first ones now my wallpaper :D Cheers for sharing! Nic x
  11. Hey the people, I'm Nicola..16 from Doncaster, been a Coldplay fan since just before AROBTTH was released, completely obsessed but unfortunately haven't been able to see them live because of the far away-ness and fact that no one seems to understand the genius of Chris, Johnny, Guy and Will out of my friends...but I'm attempting some large scale conversions. So...yeah, hi. Be gentle! Nic :o
