AWESOME! Yes you should make a sign, I dunno what though  Chris always notices them. One girl here made a sign with something like "I love your hair Chris" and he (and Guy) had a laugh about it. He even said thank you

God I WISH one of them was my geography teacher. But then I guess I would have a lot of trouble listening in class.

Yeah, you really saw Guy's personality. It's good to see his more playful/funny side... like playing patty-cake and bouncing balls of the walls  *cough* Uh... oh yeah, this is a Chris thread, innit? "You trying to hijack my thread, Guy?!"

"Strawberry Swing" video - RELEASED! (20th July 2009)
Yeah, that handstand was crazy. You know what part I think is brilliant... is when he 'parachutes' down with the umbrella. The movement of the buildings below, the angles and everything, along with his body is just great.

What evidence of Coldplay is in your room?
Oh jeez... 3 posters, 2 calendars (2006 one has "Yellow" confetti stuck by it), Fix You light messenger bag filled with programs, tickets, magazines with Coldplay in/on them, & other merch, CDs, Viva tote with tickets, programs, & other merch, 5 shirts, a magazine clip stuck to my dry-erase board on my door, a Coldplay for Piano songbook, and a drawing in progress of Chris. I think that's it... OH WAIT! And this awful Coldplay documentary DVD... stuffed in a drawer so only I know I actually spent money on that...

What song made you a Coldplay fan?
Clocks in 2003. I was 14 years old then. I heard it on the radio late at night -- I'd never been taken by music like that before. I loved the piano and Chris' distinct voice. I was singing it for a week straight... The Scientist and Yellow helped, too, because I survived off of those 3 songs for a month until I bought Rush of Blood that summer.

 Thanks. That's so funny. I should've told people what I was wearing (a bright yellow Freddie Mercury T-shirt, I don't know if anyone will remember that) so I could meet some people. Try to put performances in a list... hm... 1. Lovers In Japan - So climactic, I couldn't put it in any place but #1. We actually got to be right under the butterflies this time... it was just so amazing, fun, and visually breathtaking. 2. Viva la Vida - The lights are off, you're looking around for Coldplay (who just left the audience stage) -- the suddenly, the opening Viva strings blast over the speakers! AHHH! Always a great song, and I love to watch Will bang the drum and bell. 3. Yellow - I wish they would've given Parachutes a little more love :P but as always, this is such a fun song because of the balloons and the Jonnylove at the end (did you see his face  ). Too funny. 4. Death and All His Friends - Bittersweet... When it starts, you realize the concert's almost over  but it's such a powerful performance, made me feel like flying. 5. Strawberry Swing - I loved the audience clapping with the whole first part, no drums. I really felt a part of the song when we did that. Such a perfect song for that summer night. "Every moment was so precious..." Honorable Mentions: Everything else! :P But especially GPASUYF, I really love the kooky, spacey spin they put on the song. 42 - By the end, Chris sounded tired, he looked insane, then he asked if we were okay! Lost!, because Chris' dancing and Guy's drumming. Glass of Water sounded GREAT live... just... wow. ...K, I better stop there or else I'll end up actually listing the entire concert. I KNOW! Everyone just stopped when the song did, even though Will was still leading. I was thinking "WHAT, this isn't what's supposed to happen!" No one around me was chanting, but I heard a few people... so I joined in as loud as I could.

I think he looks a bit younger with shorter hair... but I have to admit I've grown to like his hair when it's a little longer and more wild. It makes him look like a CRAZEH MAN! Great for performances

WOW... I am going to have to save that account of the concert. Great details -- thanks for finding that one Jenjie! I remember the Politik lights hurting my eyes  And I really loved how they let the audience's clapping be the rhythm for the beginning of Strawberry Swing... just like on LRLRL.

Thanks for the great recordings everybody!!! I wish it was three days ago again... Here's a compilation of our footage/pics from row 13, mostly taken by my sister (designated cameraperson). It's not all of our stuff, but some of the best we got. The vids in the beginning are shakey -- they're mine, I was dancing! Oops. Our camera doesn't record audio, so I just edited the clips to some LRLRL. I tried to make it as epic as possible. :P [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qK4NmirZ-Wo]YouTube - Coldplay Live - 7.14.09 at the Wheatland Amphitheatre[/ame]
