I'm back! Yeah, a lot of people have lost their interest and I think it's because they've overplayed them during so many time that they feel they need to breathe fresh/new air. I read the thread when you said they'd play here, I still find it hard to believe. It wasn't my intention to make you feel guilty - I just wanted you to realise that you've forgotten about them. A bit.
  2. The thing is that I haven't heard any 'interesting' news about them since a long time ago and during this time I've been finding out new bands and I kinda forgot about Coldplay. Anyway, it's for sure that if their album is good, I'll recover my interest in them. I don't usually like electronic music but there're some dance and trance songs that I like so... it's still too early to judge something like this. Let's first have a proper listen(s) to the album and then we'll see!
  3. It isn't, it's just that I've got no clue about the direction they're going to take (their music, the guys). I'm happy that they've chosen Barcelona, how couldn't I? But still... I've lost a bit of faith in them, honestly. Hopefully this feeling will change when their new album is out.
  4. Oo. They're surprising me quite a lot lately. First off they say their album is going to have a Spanish title and now that they're going to perform in Barcelona, an Exclusive Premier!! I just can't figure out what has happened to these guys.

I'm fine. I've just had lunch! Is everything ok for you? I haven't read about their first single release because I'm not that interested in Coldplay anymore. Anyway, maybe when their new album is out, I might recover the interest I've lost. Going for a walk is nice at times, just when you want to go on your own and think about your concerns, etc. But Aikido is also good because it's a way to meet other people whose environment has nothing to do with yours (no Uni, no Academies, etc.). It's a way to unwind from everything. Yes, I refered to you posting on the Placebo's thread!
  6. Oenona replied to Joyce's topic in The Lounge
Aikido is an martial art an in spite of general beliefs about them (that the strength plays a big role), it's just the mental part what it is important in it. That's true, but I reckon that people go to the gym not just to work out, but also because it has some "mental benefits" and when they leave from the gym they feel they've got more energies. I meant that you should follow that way to go to the Halls of Residence more often if it is a source of inspiration for ya. Oh well, but most of coldplayers do have a myspace and if they're really interested in a band they read their blogs I guess... well, that's what I do.
  7. Oenona replied to Joyce's topic in The Lounge
Ari, miss  I'm doing well. I just came back from the gym, I had Aikido lessons. Ah, now I get it. The thing is that you don't need this extra trip, ONLY the ticket. You've got a good knowledge of Portuguese, I suppose, so you could check that site if you're that interested in attending that gig. this means that you should go to the halls of residence more often, especially when you feel like writing poems. Oh, let me ask you... did you post on the Placebo's thread because you feel guilty?
  8. Oenona replied to Joyce's topic in The Lounge
I was refering to David Fonseca. You told me you created a thread for him, didn't you? With what I meant: "PFWW member". Don't know the meaning of these initials. Don't get what your problem is - you say you've got trouble in adquiring a ticket for that gig, right? Then I said you could adquire it through the internet... but now I'm completely lost.
  9. Oenona replied to Joyce's topic in The Lounge
sorry for my disappearance, I did need to have an afternoon nap. I meant the thread that you created about this guy you fancy. That one! I've got no clue of what that is! that's totally true, they're both in the same dates but it's when you check the bands that are coming to these festivals that you can really judge whether you want to go to one of them. Maybe the tickets aren't sold in Spain but you could buy them through Internet, don't you think?
  10. Oenona replied to Joyce's topic in The Lounge
Ari: I see. So you're obsessed with a new mister but tell me, what happened with Mr Molko? Can't believe you've forgotten him that fast! I'll have a look at the thread tonight! myspace: http://www.myspace.com/iris_coldplay --> which is private because I don't want people to check my personal information. Anyway, if you're a friend of mine you can fully see my profile. Why don't you give me the link for yours? Oh well, I also want to do loads of things during the summer time but think about it - these festivals only last a couple of days, which is nothing compared to the 3 months you've got of holidays. Daryl: oh, so you want to meet people from the Argentina thread? I don't think it's a bad idea but you've got to consider that Argentina is such a big country... I know I wouldn't go to meet someone in another country unless I knew a lot the person itself. Btw, I replied your pm.
  11. Oenona replied to bart's topic in The Lounge
Cheers dearie!! A beer is fine.
  12. Oenona replied to Joyce's topic in The Lounge
Daryl: oh, yeah, the Daydream festival, I remember!! How come you're thinking of flying to Argentina?? Ari: I'll reply your post properly tomorrow (or soon) . I've got a myspace account (and Daryl does too). Are you thinking of getting one? If so, I'd add you. I'm really sorry, but I do have to go to sleep since I'm getting up early tomorrow. night night
  13. Oenona replied to bart's topic in The Lounge
OI. What did I miss? I had no idea you were the one who had started this thread. oh yeah, I'm going to bring loads of sexy ladies (and lads, of course) when the time comes!! Pour me something, Daryl!
  14. Oenona replied to Joyce's topic in The Lounge
hello lovelies!!! everything's going well, Ari, thanks for asking. The other day I got an email from the University of Aberdeen with some documents attached that I have to fill in and send them back before the deadline. Besides that, nothing major has happened in my life (as I told you on lastfm). Yes, sure. I was refering to the boy of your avatar (I don't know who he is). Daryl! The Colplaying pub? I've never heard of it... I'm gonna check this thread then. By the way, I'm seriously thinking of going to the Summercase Festival, I reckon I haven't told ya! And how are you both?!
  15. Oenona replied to Joyce's topic in The Lounge
Hello miss and mister. sexy avatar, by the way.
  16. I'm uploading the album. I'll post the link for it on the "other bands links thread".
  17. Oenona replied to Joyce's topic in The Lounge
I usually get on well with most of my teachers too, I couldn't really tell why though. Let's hope you'll be able to take part in this contest next year then! In this way you'll have more time to write new and make more original tales! I'm gonna go to sleep dear. night Ari!
  18. oh, I'm sorry! I'll upload it tomorrow, ok? :)
  19. 123MB? That's quite a lot for only 11 tracks. why don't you try the downloading link I gave you? It's only 70MB.
  20. Oenona replied to Joyce's topic in The Lounge
Okay, I get it. So the poems or whatever they wrote was totally random and lacked of sense, I suppose. I don't think I'd have liked this kind of poetry. I remember you told me about La Colmena a while ago and I haven't read it but I have been recommended to do so and I will, some day! It's a really hard job but this is what you want to do, so a good way to start for it is precisely writing.
  21. Oenona replied to Joyce's topic in The Lounge
Sorry, I've never heard of Dadaismo. You're right here. We tend to think that the world's so big but nowadays it isn't. Internet and the media has cut down the distances and now you can actually talk to someone who's in the other side of the world. So great you've found something that makes you feel this way! I wish you could be a writer although it isn't something easy to achieve these days, unless you're really good and have some good luck too but you never know... :D
  22. I'm almost sure it was here: http://rapidshare.com/files/94828176/The_Real_People_-_The_Joys_of_Losing_Weight.part1.rar.html And I had some problem in extracting the track number 11, so I haven't listened to it yet. My favourite tracks are: Untitled: 10, 5 (http://cameldrags.googlepages.com/05Untitled.mp3), 8, 1
  23. I can't promise you'll find it good although I sooo love it!! It has something that it's vaguely reminiscent of Beirut. Some songs are a bit electronic. Oh yeah, and needless to say, Zach's voice is as great as it is now. There is one song which I find so damn sexy (the intro for Untitled 10) but perhaps it isn't, actually, and it's just me that I'm a pervert. All the songs are untitled, btw. I'm gonna look for a link of it, because I downloaded it like 3 weeks ago or so, so I may find that site over again. And speaking about Zach, there's that song called Venice that you might want to hear if you haven't done it yet: http://gvsbchris.com/zach%20condon%20venice.mp3 you're welcome Ari!:nice:
  24. Oenona replied to Joyce's topic in The Lounge
oh well, it's good to be open up to write in any language! Thom's voice makes me think more of Paul's one (Interpol's frontman) than with the Ian Curtis one. Yeah, there's something attractive about him! I don't think they've got the same method than you because yours is crazy! You must go nuts when working on your stories. I know I would. And I do agree with the idea that things are related one to each other, the thing is that you're able to find out these connections among them. And that reminds me of the saying: "The world is so small at times"
  25. By the way, I don't know if you have noticed how young Zach looks in this picture but if you compare it with his recent photographies for me it's clear. That's why I think it was taken when the boy was 15 (yes, 15!!!) and had just made an album called "The Joys of Losing Weight" which never was released but that, curiously, it was leaked on the internet. Of course Beirut didn't even exist, but he was known as "The Real People" by then (if you haven't checked The Real People out, you should). Does it really matter if he's taken? I know I'd end up doing the same thing if I met him! hahaha Exactly, that's what I meant about the French people although I didn't know how to describe it. I really like his hair!!!!
