I haven't listened to Coldplay for a long time, and I don't think I will. I reckon I'm bored of 'em, maybe 'cos I listened to 'em too much and now I feel like discovering new other bands. Keeping on being obsessed with Coldplay would be like not going ahead.

I don't think I told you that last week I finished the lab practices I was doing and they took me a lot of time since I did these practices 4hours per day (in the morning)! I was talking 'bout The Libs. I can say I'd do the same than you and choose the first option, but I think it's really easy to say whatever you'd do - because once you're in the situation, I suppose it changes - I mean, it doesn't match what you said you'd do beforehand with the way you'd really act when you're living the moment! Most of my friends like spanish music too. I don't hate sp music, it's just that I don't like most of the bands. There're some exceptions, though, like Amaral, El canto del loco and other bands like these. And flamenco, oh my, I don't like that genre at all!! Aw, that'd be cool, to create a band and compose your own songs! Would that band be an Eng one? Out of curiosity! ;) I'd like to have one and be the singer and play some instrument, just to know how it feels being in a band! You play the guitar? I started playing it 'bout a month ago since I had a lot of free time 'cos I was on vacation - I had just ended my exams period at my Uni, and I thought: why don't you try to do it? And that's what I did! I also know how to play the piano, the last song I learnt was 9 crimes by Damien Rice, it's quite easy to play!!

yep, you can't force things. You should let them go "their way", and if something must happen, then it will. That's what I think! The band Im talking 'bout was already famous - not really famous over here (in our country), but they were a legend in their own one and they'll be remembered like that. And although mostly you're right, me thinks it was their way of being, and not 'cos they weren't as famous as - erm, U2, perhaps?, what made 'em to act that way. Your friends don't share your tastes in music, you mean? Don't worry 'bout that. So don't mines, but I don't mind. There're a friend of mine who's really interest in music, and we can talk 'bout bands and stuff but she doesn't get as emo as me when she listens to music. I'd die for meeting a fellow in my city with who I could go to gigs and could share with me this passion. Because music is my life. haha, that's curious, 'cos I reckon that most of John Wayne's films are westerns! Well, they're from Mexico and are a boy + girl who play accoustic guitar. I don't know why, but I was dead sure I was posting in your own thread, but I realized that I was wrong just when I posted the message and I saw it was also Giulie's and Cipy's thread. Anyway, I guess this time I'm posting the reply in the good one! :) I see what you mean! (about that guy). That happens most of times: girl loves guy, but this guy doesn't feel enough interest in her and at the same time another guy loves that girl. That's the story of the life. Normally. I wish I could whether you're mistaken or not, but I don't know the whole story. Don't know if it's the proper time to give a further step. Anyway, you could value which things you don't agree with and see if they're really important! Yeah, keep on writing! Inspiration will come, and as you said, you think it will some day! Well, for me it's clear that they won't absolutely change their style. It's just that they've changed somehow. And being honest, right now I'm not sure if i'm only refering to the music, it comes to their behaviour as well. Some of the bands I really like is also 'cos of their behaviour towards the fans. F.e., there's a specific one that I love, not only 'cos the music is fucking great, but also 'cos there's a real contact between 'em and the fans: they usually log on in the forums, they did private gigs at their homes, I even have some of 'em added on myspace... you see? They've nothing to do with some other music bands that are so succesful that don't give a shit for the fans. Well, maybe Im wrong but that's what I sometimes feel. And Im not saying that Coldplay don't care 'bout the fans, but - sadly, I end up having this feeling at times. I think you're absolutely right when you said you don't like to go with the flow - I mean being a fan of a band just 'cos they're cool and famous at that moment. And many groups that you said are fantastic! Oh, you prefer old films? Well, I couldn't say that, but I recognize that some of 'em are WONDERFUL. oh, God! haha, I don't like westerns, that's one of the genres that I consider boring, I'm sorry! Yeah, for me it depends on how I'm feeling, too. I sometimes feel like watching a silly film like American Pie, but another ones I just need to watch something deep and serious, sthg for thinking, like 21grams. Aww, that's good! You know what? I do the same too. I listen to music for getting inspired - and some specific songs put me in the mood of writing and express everything I feel in a sheet of paper, or in a screen or whatever. These days I've been writing a kind of composition 'cos I want to take part in a competition - and I used to listen to Rodrigo y Gabriela and oh my... It was - well, there's no words to describe it! I see! Most of the current films we can see at the cinemas are remakes of another ones that were succesful, and they think that if they "apply" the same ingredient another time, it'll be succesful once again, but they're wrong. I've always thought that... well, it's a bit difficult to explain, but... do you want me to tell ya?

I'm currently hooked on The Libertines and all of the bands that exists thanks to 'em - Dirty Pretty Things, Babyshambles and Yeti. They're an obsession to me. And about cinema, my fav genre is sci-fic, although I also like comedies, thrillers, dramas, melodramas, etc. I can't stand westerns 'cos they're boring as hell. Some titles: Some like it hot - it's one of the films with the best dialogues ever - so damn clever and CHEEEEEKY! Babel - it's a very emo film. I cried. My heart bled for the main character. And I felt the pain with her. I'd have shouted if I could. Also, music matches so well with the rough scenes it shows. oh, God. This film deserved the Award!!! grrr :( Don't understand why they didn't give it to this film! Ryan's daughter - the love story. So passionate. So beautiful. And I do like many more, but I think I'll never end up telling you which ones and why. What 'bout you?
