  1. Last album I bought was about two weeks ago. Amnesiac - Radiohead
  2. HOLYFUCKBUCKETS *stares* JESUS! right I'm not saying anything else before I keyboard bash OICMW;OGIMEORIGMENIHWRSGH ...too late
  3. sore throat? Heh I know what you mean. I sang during Micro Cuts - after initially going ZOMGTHAT'SFUCKINGMIRCOCUTS to which some perosn next to me was like what song is this? VOIMOGLMISROGF Uhem. Yeah so I tried to sing-a-long...ummm...enough said. But I must admit I was a Coldplay fan first. Kind of something I still hold onto cause it reminds me of what I was like when I was 12. Ahhh such a n00b.
  4. ^ lmao I know what you mean. I put glitter in my hair at my gig and my friend was like you freak. I was like you'll see why when he brings out the glitterati. And then I squeed! Ahhh the pure joy and exhilieration on my face and then the shame and humiliation etched on my friend's face since she had to go through the whole gig with me fucking screaming my head off. Although I didn't the whole time. Ruled By Secrecy I just watched and got shivers down my spine. Ugh post-gig depression again and that gig was seven months ago!
  5. WOAH? EMI is allowed to do that? Grrr, I reckon Greatest Hits albums are just a pathetic excuse to get more money.
  6. yeah I get that a lot. i remember a few years ago in maths the teacher said 'you get x and y...' and i was thinking of coldplay. then in physics we were talking about the speed of light and about how some gears work in clocks. I was like ahhhh COLDPLAY! Then once we talked about black holes and i was like MUSE. For some reason when someone says Stockholm. I have the tendency to say Syndrone straight after.
  7. Well like many people I download many of my songs. The last album I bought. Like physically went to the effort of walking into a store to buy was Black Hole & Revelations by Muse. Was a while back. But the latest album I've downloaded is Hot Chip's Made in the Dark. I only buy album's if I think they're worth buying. Like Coldplay. I've bought their albums after hearing a few I downloaded when I first got into them. That's how it works with me. If I really like an album I'll buy it after hearing a few tracks. Kind of like try before you buy.
  8. I wholeheartedly agree try Radiohead's In Rainbows (which I still can't stop listening to, Reckoner being my favourite track), The Bends (you might recognise High and Dry) and OK Computer (you might recognise a few tracks on that one like No Surprises and Karma Police. My favourite is Climbing Up the Walls). I'm a massive Muse fan, first gig I went to was theirs. Personally I don't advise Showbiz (although I do like Sunburn). For the crazy stuff try Origin Of Symmetry (My favourite album). For some of the classical influence try Absolution (a few tracks have piano and strings arrangements) and for some of the electronica stuff try Black Holes and Revelations (I love Map Of The Problematique - highly recommended). Well I hope that helps a little bit. I love both bands.
  9. weeeeeeeeee *does matt shuffle dance* i literally peed when the release date for H.A.A.R.P. came out. mum came in and had to calm me down and then told me i was overly obsessive. i had good reason to be. i live all the way in australia so i didn't get to see them live at wembley. although i did see them when they were here in Brisbane. We got Microcuts and Fury but no Citizen Erased or Bliss. Guess you can't always get it your own way. Still was a great gig and I'm sure this dvd will be too.
  10. thank god it's not called Prospekt. it sounded kind of lame. and like i have been and still will be until the album comes out. i'll be shaking my fist in protest telling them to bloody well hurry up. *sighs* well if it good, which it most probably will be, then waiting a wee bit longer shouldn't be to bad *begins pulling hair out* yeah i'm not a very patient person.
  11. awww what a cutie. i have a soft spot for kids
  12. omg i love those three guys. *goes and read*
  13. omg i love the first track already. sounds...interesting
  14. ooo i'm going to check it out right now. i've loved radiohead in the past. OK Computer and The Bends beign my stand out favourite albums by them. will be back with a review sooner or later
  15. omg, i love that interview. so funny. like the fact the guys were up front with their answers
