Talking about Fix You, I happened to come across this... "Coldplay's name is also likely to pop up a few times. Okay, okay. :lol: Their video for Speed of Sound came in 10th for best 40 videos of 2005. wootang! There was some great commentary over it too. I also loved how they talked specifically about Will and what a brilliantly strong drummer he is.

My friend picked it up at the Coldplay concert we went to. I wish I had seen where he had picked it up - I would have stocked up with them!

Aie that poster story reminds me of a very sad Target story. I went into Target one day to see if they had any posters for sale. I talked to a lady about it, and she said they didn't sell any posters. "What about all the promo posters that are hung up all around the music section?" I was especially meaning this one: <img src=http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/6384/1229/1600/COLDPLAY.jpg> (the dimensions of this poster were huge - at least 6ft across) -"Oh, those arent for sale either. Actually, the management must destroy all the posters once they're taken down. We the employees can't even buy or get them for free." DESTROY a poster like that?!?!?!? :cry: That's absolutely criminal. Selfish poster murderers!

Hey I saw the rest of the countdown tonight. FINALLY I saw Coldplay. Should I fess up on where they came in for their music video? I don't want to ruin it for anybody who wants to be kept in suspense.

I'm still waiting for someone to ask me about Coldplay since I have the X&Y album sticker on the back on my car. It features the album art and COLDPLAY X&Y. I'm very proud of that little sticker. :D

Did anybody see where Coldplay came in for the top 40 videos for 2005? I started watching the show half way through and I think I missed them. :/ Of course they'll only be showing the show multiple more times....but I'm curious. I can't believe Mariah's "We Belong Together" was the best for 2005! Sitting in a bathtub is better than Coldplay? :confused: I don't get mainstream society sometimes.

I guess you can just consider that your practice run. ;)

Now, for the addies of the Coldplay boys...mwaha. Nah, I wouldn't want to freak out Gwyn if she's already afraid of stalker issues.

Floor seats are incredible. See my signature photo for what happened when I got floor seats to my first Coldplay concert. :) Chris ran to the back of the floor and started singing the end of In My Place. I was about in the middle of the floor area. I glanced off to my right, and Gwyneth was sitting a few feet away from me! Awesome experience. Have a great concert!!! :D

Maybe I'm starting to hear things too. I'm watching Vh1's All Access and while they were covering some actor or another, there was a background clip of Clocks. It sounded like a live-recorded clip because I swear I heard one of Chris's "woooh" during the sound bit. Really, I swear! Yeahh I really am Coldplay wired tonight. You forumi people can do that to me!

but hey, that 30 minutes can multiply and multiply if you watch the show over and over! :rolleyes: It would be like listening to a favorite song over and over. Can you believe that some of the greatest songs are only actually 3-4 minutes? Crazy but true. Of course, this is going along with the idea that the show will be well done, but I think Coldplay can make any show look brilliant! :D
