Many students around my school have been announcing this to us with morning speeches and the such. They were those bracelets too. And are going to a lock-in sort of thing to raise money for them and support. and its not just our government ignoring this case....most all governments. and unfortunately.. this is not new stuff either. And this isnt all there is. There is bunches of places just like this, worse and a tad bit better. Opression/maltreament of women and children all around. So if the invisible children have touched your heart ... look around (not too hard, that isnt necessary) to find out just how much horrific things are going on!
