YES! I saw them here in Austin, Tx a while back ago. AND they are coming to three venues here to Houston, Tx on my birthday!!!! sweet deal, huh? Anyway. They are really peaceful in their performance and you can feel their enjoyment in the music. Almost like they are not even there...like they are just in their own worlds. It was fantastic.

well, some people just have to be asleep at certain times because their bodies can't handle the new schedules. But I can wake up for anything if I have to and sleep whenever when I want to. There have been times when I have been out and about from 1am to 6am partying or studying or just hanging out and I am not tired at all. Its a mental thing. Sleep will come later .. I tell myself. And then I can just stay up and do whatever I want. It actually is pretty interesting. Being in places and doing things you normally do during the daylight hours. Like going into a store or ordering up at a restaurant. Or watching a movie at 3am. wow that is awesome stuff anyway. It all depends on how your body can take it. I have had WEEKS where all I did was stay up late at night and into the late morning and slept a few hours before work and it was all okay. No troubles with the sleep or anything. And people where all like "dag, thats gonna bite you in the ass" NO Its, like I said, a body tolerance.

hah! :cheesy: I forgot I made this thread. I guess the boredom overwhelmed any sense-filled thought! Anyway. I never thought I would feel the way you started feeling a while back ago, Jules. That feeling where you step in the Lounge area and think "Oh shit this place is boring" I thought, nah this place is cool. What is she talking about. And now I think of how many more awesome members there still was when I got here about a year ago now (whoa... a year) I mean, I come here because I have acquintances that I like to chit-chat from time to time. But it's like walking on egg shells trying to find non-spam threads. And yes, I used to be more social and fun when I got here, but then there was reason to! Now its like: blegh. At least in the lounge. The music section is pretty slow, but has been near and dear for me to discover new good music. I read up on Coldplay section to see new news on them. But I don't post because the fanaticism in there is OVERwhelming....srsly. And I like the news and entertainment junk too well.

I think children go the wrong way when their adoptive parents tell them the truth. GRATEFUL children will thank them and be/act appreciative of having such enourmously loving parents. You see, any two people can have a child of their own and wow...okay. BUT when two people decide to adopt a child not of their blood.. . this takes some power of the heart. Because they open a home and heart that could have been saved for a child of their own, and take in a complete stranger! I don't mean that the adopted child has to like, worship their parents and stuff... I just mean, be grateful. I don't get this whole "I hate you because you aren't my real parent" or "why didn't you tell me soonEr!?" whiny bullshit like that. I mean, sure we all have our natural reactions. But they come from the person you are and if you are a rude bitch child then you will display rotten emotions towards your adoptive parents. Now, I think that the parents really should tell their adopted child as soon as they think the child will understand. And maybe even try! even if the kid might not fully understand BUT first and foremost... these parents should be prepared way before adopting of these reaction and should be prepared to HAVING to tell the child. Because it is common that years pass and the parents are like "nah! why say anything right now" because they are scared or something. THis is wrong But I totally support adoption though I think its like ten times more responsibility filled than anything else I can think of
