The sad and sick part about this world we live in now is not not being able to watch decapitated religious leaders... as entertainment because of religious bad feelings. . . The problem is sick people who like watching anyone being decapitated for ANY reason. I, personally, find that a really just wrong thing! But of course, you will say: "Oh my Crystal! What's a movie without gore and blood? What's entertainment without 'Le Violence!?' " Oh well.

Indeed. And here in most parts of the US... in schools, you don't have to actually pledge. But you do/or should stand without hand over heart just as a sign of "respect" But there are uber patriotic teachers that try and MAKE students stand AND pledge. When they have perfectly good reasons not to pledge and also perfectly good US rights to not have to. But parents can always protest the need of their child doing the pledge. But I am sure we have encountered teacher who try to place their patriotism and beliefs on students with threats...wrong! And they support a free country! MY ASS!

I was munching on some Oreos just now, and I thought I would find some fellow cookie lovers around. While the issue is a bit weak.. I can add that I really don't think its right to make cookie moster go back on his habit by covering up eating veggies and shit. That is pretty wrong. I mean, the monster was prolly humiliated by mounds of letters from angry mothers of children whose weight gain is blamed on the cookie eating monster. Poor Cookie Moster. There is no reason to blame him..he was just a character! If the parents have fatties, it's their own fault. One time, I saw this GIANT sign for Kentuky Fried Chicken...and in very small print it said something like ... "eat your veggies too" like they were trying to compensate for all the grease they stuff down your throat. Anyway..that bit was off topic, but whatever. Shove it. English and literature was my favorite too. I used to write bullshit papers too. Most of the time, it was when I hadn't read the book I had to write a paper on, but the class had a book discussion before it came time to write the paper. So I would just use those notes and write the paper. Never having read the book! You just have to elaborate and use what writing skills you were given. I honestly have made 'A' grades on reports of books I had slight of a clue on. BUT when I really enjoyed the book, and the assignment was okay...I would take my time and research and write a really well thought out paper. I think I just don't work as well when I write papers this way though. I need that last minute pressure to bring out all the juicy writing. Because well researched papers I would write just were a load of crap and I got poor grades on them *shrugs*
