Well lets stay postive, lots of miracles happen at christmas! Everyone, persuade as many people as possible to buy the single or if they absoultely wont be talked into it buying it then buy them it for christmas, then they will seem ungrateful if they say they dislike it. Win win situation, you dont have to spend hours deciding what to buy people and theres more of a chance of christmas number one. Everyones happy! :D

Cool, yea i think i might queue from about that too (maybe! if i can get out of bed early enough!) What time do you think the band would arrive? (im think catching them on the way in for autographs, photos etc, i know i know i'd have to be incrediably lucky, but a girl can dream!)

How early would you guys advise going to queue? if doors open at 6 say, what time would i need to be there to ensure a good place? When i went to the dublin gig i started queuing at 2pm and was in the second row but im not sure if ill be that lucky this time. RJFox, ill see you there! :cool:

Yea im going to said belfast concert also and would love even to get an autograph! I have heard though that its very difficult to get backstage.

Yea hearing someone else sing it really makes you see how good coldplay actually are. I think clocks will go down in history, its such am amazing song!

Oh dont be scared! I'm actually quite shy and i was quite nervous when i went for my first lesson but it was totally fine. I already have to sing when i do piano and violin grades anyway. Do you have to do this? Like a couple of bars of sight singing and then some echo exercises?? Anyway you should definitly try it, and dont be scared!!!

Lessons are going good, (well i say good, i've got a bit better, so an improvement!!) I just really want to work or getting my voice stronger. It was my mum that talked me into gettin lessons because she said i had a gift and shouldnt waste it. (although i dont know if i'd call it a gift! I'm very average!) But i'm really enjoying it. I would encourage people to try it! you should give it a go!! :D

Hey, i just saw the talk the tour thingy and am i the only one who is kinda annoyed?? I mean i just think it's kinda sly that the offer is only open to people in america. Coldplay are from the U.K but do residents here get such promotional offers?? It seems not. What do you think? Hey, wow everyone amazingly musical here!! Well i've played piano for around 7 year, violin for 3 (doing grades on both with the Royal associated board) and have started singing lessons this year. I also chose music for GCSE in school so have done a fair bit of composing. I think its great to be able to play and instrument, especially to play pop songs etc. But i do think a classical training is a great basis and background. I alos this is makes it easier to start new styles when you can play classical.

I agree, learning to play piano is easier if you have played another instrument but drums might not be a great help as they are untuned percussion and you have to then learn to read music which is the hard part. If however you just want to learn to play Coldplay songs and not actually read music then that would be easy enough. I've played piano fro quite a while now and if your gona get lessons my advice is stick at it. the number of times i nearly gave up. but its all worth it int he end. Good luck!! p.s dont be put off by age, it really doesnt matter, if you really wana learn then you'll do great! :D

Yea people here are very friendly and welcoming! im still very new but i already feel at home! I do think this truly represents coldplay fans very well! i do go on the other forum, the coldplay.com one, and its alright but there are always oasis spammers. There are some nice people there too thought, they are not all bad!

Heres some more - The band has gotten more than 3 million fans to sign the Big Noise petition and many are getting further involved. Chris' Mum is from Zimbabwe. Chris sent him a copy of X & Y before it was finished to Danny McNamara (embrace) to ask his advice. He also sent it to Tim Wheeler from Ash and Gwyneth's brother. (here a little piece of info, Tim Wheeler went to my school and i met him a while back.) Chris is the only one in the yellow video because the video was shot on the day Will's mum's funeral.
