  1. Ha. Violet Hill started... And Ricky Martin, Chris's brother. Haha
  2. Wow.... Chris tends to exaggerate, but I hope the album news is true. A year and a half away, though....
  3. They did one about The Scientist, too... Pretty hilarious.
  4. 21 Amsterdam 20 Politik (+) 19 The Scientist 19 Clocks 18 A Rush of Blood to the Head 12 In My Place (-)
  5. That's pretty nice to hear. Thanks for the link!
  6. Every other "secret" in that blog we read was true... Strange.
  7. I love how the promos kept saying "Who wins best picture: Superbad or Juno?" Then Transformers won. Haha
  8. The winners of America's Best Dance Crew joined them.
  9. As far as non-fans: one of my friends texted me to ask if Chris always sounded that bad (we're supposed to go to the Coldplay concert together in Chicago.) Also, I'm getting excited about this duet. Initially, I thought it wouldn't happen, but everything else in that blog has happened.
  10. Listen to the MTV Online performance... That gives a better indication of how it sounded.
  11. I think you need to be more worried about Adam Sandler outperforming them. :p
  12. No chance. They'll work everything out, and blow everyone away on tour. Imagine them playing as the whole crowd sings the 'Whoa"s!
  13. Yep. That's what I mean... Some of the live "Talk" performances (such as the Toronto one) are orgasmic. I'm hoping VLV ends up the same way once Coldplay are in the comfort of their own, full-blown show.
  14. The Grammy performance of "Talk" is precisely what this reminded me of... It will likely be incredible at a full gig, but it just fell on its musical face tonight.
  15. I am obsessed with Coldplay, but nobody in his right mind would call that a good performance. People, it's okay to say that it was sub-par. Still worth watching!
  16. The best part was the video playing in the background of the band on strings. Haha.
  17. Also, that's a song where the crowd needs to be involved, and a film awards show isn't exactly the place to do that. It just seemed... flat.
  18. It's probably one of their worst performances... He sounded... not so good. They should've done Violet Hill.
  19. Red carpet interview, I think. I just turned it on, so I'm not sure. They definitely haven't performed yet.
  20. Yellow. It's never taken off for me the way it has for some.
  21. A lot of good interviews have been rolling out the past few days, and this one is no exception. Thanks!
  22. "Lost!" seems more radio-friendly than most others... If "42" is as epic and different as everyone says, it may not get released. Singles are made to be played on the radio; the best songs aren't always singles. If they were, "White Shadows" would've been a single and "The Hardest Part" most certainly would not have been.
  23. Not sure yet. In an interview, Chris Martin made it seem like the songs were linked on one track, saying that people could get a few songs in a "two for one" deal.
  24. On "Reign of Love" I think, yes.
