I just watched the night news on ORF1 and they had short clips of the concert and a very short interview with Jonny and Chris.

Oha echt??? :shocked2: Das ist ja krass! Ich hatte bis vor kurzem noch gar keinen Account, weil ich das immer ohne Anemdlung aber dafür über Kreditkarte gemacht habe. Weißt du denn dein Passwort noch? Sonst melde dich da doch mal an und versuche dich irgendwie dort selber zu löschen, falls das geht. Also per Mail musste ich noch nie was bestätigen.

Ich bin noch da, aber gleich nicht mehr. Ja klar, ich bestelle ausschließlich Bahn-Tickets online. Am Schalter oder im Reisebüro würde ich doch viel mehr dafür zahlen. ;) Warum fragst du?

Auch ein Weichei kann für Stimmung sorgen Coldplay bot in der Stadthalle eine starke Show Wien - Die britische Band Coldplay zählt zu den letzten Zugpferden des angeschlagenen Musikverlags EMI. Außerdem besitzt die Formation den wenig schmeichelhaften, Ruf, die "uncoolste Band des Planeten" zu sein. Begründet liegt dies in den nicht selten übersensiblen Texten des Sängers und Gitarristen Chris Martin, Ehemann von Hollywood-Star Gwyneth Kate Paltrow. Martin steht auch wegen seinem sozialen Engagements bei NichtFans unter schwerstem Weichei-Verdacht. Das ist den Fans der Band logischerweise egal und live ziehen die verregneten Londoner auch meistens viel Publikum an. So auch in der gut gefüllten Wiener Stadthalle, in der sie am Mittwochabend gastierten und für Begeisterung sorgten. Coldplay präsentierte gut zwei Dutzend Songs quer durch ihr Gesamtwerk und bewarb dadurch auch den im heurigen Sommer erschienen, vierten Longplayer Viva La Vida. Mit der ersten Nummer des Albums, "Life in Technicolor" , wurde auch das Konzert eröffnet. Danach folgten Schlag auf Schlag die großen Hits wie "Violet Hill" , "Clocks" und "In My Place" , bei denen die meisten Fans mitsingen konnten - und dies auch taten. Die Band bot eine professionelle Pop-Show ohne Kanten, Überraschungen und Fehler. Die Bühne war bis auf ein paar Stehlampen leer. Dafür boten eine riesige Leinwand sowie die im Raum hängenden großen Kugeln ausreichend Fläche für die Projizierung von spektakulärer Visuals. Először járt Budapesten a világ legnépszerűbb britpopegyüttese, a Coldplay, hogy megmutassa: létezik giccses, de hibátlan előadás. Majdnem megtöltötte kedd este a Budapest Sportarénát a Coldplay, hogy bemutassa negyedik stúdiólemezét. A Viva La Vida című album nagy meglepetést nem okozott, ahogy a koncert sem: profi, hibátlan hangzás, érzékeny, lírai témák, itt-ott egy kis beindulás, sőt diszkó. Le sem tagadhatnák a producerzseni Brian Eno hatását: hol a U2, hol a világzene-mániás Peter Gabriel hatása tűnt fel. Régi számokkal melegítettek, csak egy-két téma bukkant fel az új lemezről. Ekkor még úgy voltunk vele: jó ez, de nagyon giccses. Chris Martin és együttese mindenesetre allűröktől mentesen, póz nélkül zenélt. Aztán bemutatkoztak, elkezdték játszani az új dalokat, majd jöttek a lézerfények, a banda vegyült a nézőkkel, végül beterítették a csarnokot műanyag pillangókkal. You're welcome! :) It takes ages for me to upload these videos on rapidshare, but I won't give up. The first one will be Chris and Jonny on the side stage during "In My Place" which was very close to me. I think the $700 billion financial rescue plan is only a solution for a very short time. I wonder how the US government wants to finance it. First choice: They could raise taxes. On the hustings? I doubt that! Secondly, expenditure cut? The amount is too much for this! To actuate the note printer? This will cause inflation at the end. Sooner or later US citizens will feel the upcoming recession especially in regard to retirement pension. I only wonder how the US finance minister could dare to ask us Europeans and other countries to participate in this project? What cheek! US banks put money in their own pockets for years and now e.g. the German tax payer has to come up for the expenses? No way!

Aber ich mag die Alte ja nicht so. Die tut so wichtig, dabei wäre die in Ungarn ohne den Übersetzer richtig verloren gewesen. Neeee, konnte es gestern leider nicht gucken, weil mein Dad Geburtstag hatte und meine beiden Onkels bis spät in die Nacht noch da waren. Aber auf rtl-now ist die Sendung ja noch 7 Tage kostenlos drin. Die werd ich mir auf jeden Fall noch angucken. Klingt aber auf jeden Fall schon interessant. Ich glaub ich weiß wie du dich gerade fühlst. Mein Kater war ja auch Anfang des Jahres schwer krank (Nierenversagen) und der Tierarzt hatte auch nicht mehr viel Hoffnung. Hatte dadurch auch schlaflose Nächte, weil ich 15 Jahre meine Kindheit mit ihm verbracht habe. Zuletzt war ich froh, wenn ich ihn nicht mehr sehen musste, weil ich ihn nicht leiden sehen konnte. Naja und dann wurde er plötzlich auch noch blind und wir haben uns entschlossen ihn einschläfern zu lassen. War die härteste Entscheidung meines Lebens! Ich weiß noch wie ich ihn danach im strömenden Regen beerdigt hatte. :( Echt nicht toll sowas! Oh man hier im Dorf treibt ein Exhibitionist sein Unwesen. Vor kurzem wurde die Freundin meiner Mutter im Stadtwald "überrascht", nun treibt er laut Zeitungsberichten in der Nähe vom Strand wieder sein Unwesen. Wie krank ist diese Welt eigentlich? :dozey:
