I like playing the drums and I pretend I'm Will. :P That's really good that your flight was hardly even delayed that much! We didn't get any snow here (:() but they got a TON downstate! Pretty much all the schools were closed and everything. Yeah, the worst of my homework is over for now. Yesterday I had a huge assignment due but I am SO happy that that is all done and handed in. I just have a couple lesson plans to write and then I am pretty much done with all major assignments until break (which is about a week away!! :dance:) And this weekend I am FINALLY going to go see my boyfriend!! :blush: edit: Carla you changed your little user subtitle thing!! I'm okay... I just had a ridiculous morning at work... both of the cash registers broke (they're electronic, so I had to do everything manually) so everything was moving very slowly, and there were loooooong lines of impatient people!!! So now I'm just glad to be home and relaxing.. :nice:

Thanks Hester. :hug: I don't want to come in here and make everyone feel all sorry for me. Writing that email just got me thinking about these things. She's actually the reason I decided to start studying education. It was something she was really passionate about and her enthusiasm for it was just contagious, and so she inspired me to work with children as well. If it wasn't for her, my life would be very different.

Oh I don't want to be a downer, but I suppose I'll feel better if I talk about it... :\ We're having a Relay for Life at my school, which is a big fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. It's an overnight event where you get people to donate money to your team and you stay up all night taking turns with teammates walking around a track. It actually can be a lot of fun because it's like a giant sleepover, and it's for a good cause. :nice: One of my very close friends died of cancer this past summer, so this year I am much more invested in fundraising and participating in this event than I have been in years past. I've been able to accept it and move on and everything, but I just sent out an email to some people asking for donations and it just kind of made a lot of old, very sad feelings resurface. I just really miss her tonight.

Yup, that stupid huge assignment as all done and handed in! :smug: I'm actually exhausted (I got 2-3 hours of sleep last night), but I can't sleep right now, I've got some stuff on my mind... :\

Oooh thanks for the warm vibes Carla... they're warming me up already! :nice: ... so today when I was at work "mystery shoppers" (act just like regular customers, except that they're actually reviewing things like customer service and cleanliness) came through where I was working at the cash register. And apparently they said I wasn't friendly enough!! Don't know what that's supposed to mean, i smile at everyone and tell each person i ring up to "Have a good day." :angry: :embarassed: Sorry it's been a long day. And it's still not over.
