Yes.... here's my contribution: my friend who goes to University of Delaware heard that Joe Biden was at their football game today and spent a large part of the day stalking him. Unfortunately, she could not find him. So sad. :( Okay anyway.... back to postcards!!!! :P

I just found out that my high school's marching band (which I was a proud member of for all 4 years, thank you very much! :P) is playing Viva La Vida in the Columbus Day Parade tomorrow! I was warned by a member of the band that they only received the music today, and probably won't be very good, but I really want to go see it anyway. It just kills me that I graduated 3 years ago-- why couldn't we have played Coldplay when I was in the band?!?!?!?!

Darn, I miss coming back here late at night and having a conversation to jump into! :P Maybe tonight I will have to go to bed at a reasonable hour instead... :uhoh:

I was just in the store, and I as I was trying on a coat Green Eyes came on! It was a bit of a surprise, because that's not really one I would expect to hear in the store! I took it as a sign, though, and bought the coat that I was trying on at that moment. ;)

I agree. :) Also, I like your use of the word "deets." :P But yes, I think it would be good to give warning before the address is posted-- however, why is a start date necessary? I would imagine that as soon as the P.O. box is ready we could begin sending, and therefore give more people a chance and time to send their postcards. Or... is that already the plan, and I am just going crazy? I'm sorry, it's midnight and I just spent the last 7 hours in the car! :D

We might be overthinking this... granted, I have not been around this thread all night but it seems like we are in a good position now: wait for an address and input on dates from Debs, and in the meantime vote for the logo and things like that. :)

I figured that anyway- just thought it couldn't hurt to ask! :D Yayyy I am sooo excited for this!

Now, does Debs know that we had wanted this to happen around Christmas? Sorry, I missed a few pages back there so I apologize if this has already been asked. I just think it would be a good idea if she knew about our intended timeline first.

I'm back (surprising, I know)! I'll try to stay on-topic for the moment-- I am so thrilled about all the progress that was made today. I am going to start working on my postcard, like, now. :D

Yes... I have a 4-day weekend and it will be wonderful. It will also be the first time I've been home since the end of August, so I plan on just relaxing allll weekend. :D Oh crap, didn't I say I was going to sleep! Maybe since it's just a rehearsal they will hang around a while longer and you'll get a chance to meet them! Also, when I saw the Today Show I got to see the sound check before the actual show started, and I thought it was really awesome to watch them warm up and tune and things like that-- it was like watching an actual band rehearsal, and it was just so cool to watch them work without worrying about cameras or anything. I think they were much more natural during the sound check than when the cameras were rolling-- so in some ways, you might be lucky to see the rehearsal instead of the live taping! There will be less pressure from the cameras and the fact that it's live!

Why 1/2? Ohh, counting SNL? That's okay, SNL is awesome! How were you able to get into that, by the way?

Oh, they have to play it! How could they not?! I'm going to try not to complain how I wish they would come back to NY at a time when I am home and not away at school; I shouldn't because I did get to see them 3 times this summer. :D Anyway, get lots of butterflies, because I am collecting them! ;)

I know, I can't believe how generous everyone is! :) If I get to go to another show this tour, I will try my absolute hardest to collect as many as I can so I can send to everyone who has sent me some!

There are some very nice Coldplayers out there who will be happy to mail you some from all over the world! There's a thread in the live section (which I started, btw... hehehe-- I'm very proud :D) called the "Butterfly Exchange" (or something to that effect) and if you PM someone who said they had butterflies to spare your address you can easily get some! :D

Well, I still have a bunch (and I'm getting more from Carla! :D) so I was thinking I would just get a small poster frame and stick them all in there... pretty simple, no glue involved! :P
