  1. Exactly! I can see myself at a job interview in a couple of years: "What do you think qualifies you to lead a full class of students?" "Well, once I helped to get people to send Coldplay a lot of postcards.... does that count?" :laugh3: This is clearly an experience I need in order to be a great teacher...
  2. If only we could put things like this on our resumes.... :P
  3. I think I'm going to have to wait until I go home this weekend and have access to a functioning printer... but I am STOKED to get this going! :D
  4. I think there a lot of Coldplayers out there right now who don't feel like doing homework.... ;)
  5. Haha, it's amazing how quickly this thread is going.... and at such a weird time of day/night! :P
  6. Zoe- I think so... but I think the official position as of now is to wait and see what kind of response we get from the other Coldplayers (when the rest of Europe wakes up! :P) and run the idea by Debs...... right?
  7. Really, I can't think of anything else that needs to be added that you haven't already said. :)
  8. Aww, Chelsea it is perfect! Wouldn't wanna change a thing.... ;)
  9. Mmm yes... I should really be getting ready for student teaching on Wednesday... :uhoh: Oh well, I would rather write postcards to Coldplay instead! Good to know I've got my priorities in order. :laugh3:
  10. Let me just say that is this WAY better than the other things i could be doing right now: homework or sleeping. ;)
  11. If only my printer wasn't broken.... I would print this postcard right now! Oooh, speaking of which... we should post the scans or pictures of the postcards up here when we are done with them! I want to see everybody's! :D
  12. Hmmm..... I think I may have debs' email address in my inbox. I will go check... edit: Yes, I have it! Should I post it here or PM it to someone? I would feel bad about posting it in the forum if she didn't want it...
  13. So, wait, how is this working? Are we writing a formal letter to Debs first to see how the mailing is going to go? I just can't wait to send my postcard! :D
  14. oops, sorry guys- I had to go there for a minute. But now that I am back (and have caught up on all the posts), I am EVEN MORE excited for this project! I really like the idea of making our own postcards- maybe even incorporate photos of us or where we live on them as well! I would also make myself available to check people's English if necessary- I am yet another one of those grammar freaks. :D
  15. I agree, Lore. Debs does seem like to personally help us fans out from time to time, and if we organized this well and someone got all the postcards together, she could give an address where we'd be sure they would get to the boys. :)
  16. Personally dropping them off at the Bakery would be a cute way to do it, but I do agree it would be cooler if they were actually addressed toward Coldplay. I wonder how helpful Debs would be: maybe if she's feeling generous enough she would give us an address where she personally would get the mail and then give it to them.... but I think I'm just being a little bit hopeful... :)
  17. ^^Yeah, it was really sweet of them to write her back. It made me so happy to see it...
  18. Hmmm.... Yeah, I don't know what I would write. It's going to take a lot of thought!
