Nahh... not really Annie. He is just too clueless. And not interested AT ALL in me. I'll have stick with the friendship... :\ I did, however, meet another guy!! :laugh4: While queuing for the taxi, barefoot, freezing coz my feet were all wet... he nicely let me stand on his feet so that i wouldn't put my feet on the ground :nice: (and he is not a random unknown guy, he is in my flatmates class) and I'm seeing him today again!!! The Spanishes (including him), will go to the sports bar to watch barça vs real madrid :nice:

I ended up doing the tights+oxford combo. looked quite good (although I couldn't walk with my shoes anymore on the way home, so i was barefoot!!!), but i dont have any pics where the dress appears properly... :nice:

Mary janes would be perfect i think, but i dont have any, and I already did the crazyness of buying this dress... can't spend more money!!!!!! I actually tried it with the peep toes and i'm glad to say it didn't look as amazing as i thought it would. I think i will probably go for the oxfords...

I think you will be fine with the boots. I'd probably pick something lighter... like court shoes or oxfords, but i think they go with the boots. And my dress is JUST that purple!!!!! And i know about the peep toe. it would prob look gorgeous. can I wear tights and peep toes, people that live in winter countries? I'm not aware if that's like a fashion no-no!!

So, I went to miss selfridge today and saw all the dresses live. the second one is too dressy and they didn't have it my size... The last one, the one I was in love, is indeed very cute, but just cute. He's seen me cute, so I needed something different. yesterday I didn't manage to get the image of this one last night, but I really liked it. and when I saw it today I liked it even more as the colour is less blue and more purplelish, so I got it!!! So now the dilemma is: what to pair it up with (shoewise)? 3 options: 1. Black tights and my all black Oxfords 2. black tights and my classic black flats with golden buckle 3. No tights and my golden peep toe (note that the dress has a slight golden detail) flats are by far the most comfy, but less classy and sexy. Oxfords are fine if they dont kill my little feet golden peep toe probably makes the best outfit, but it's been around 0 degrees at nights, so no tights will be freeeeeeeeeeeeeezing!!!! so... whatcha think?

I think I might check if they have it instore and see how it looks live. I'm scared it might be slightly too short, as most of the things at Miss Selfridge. but thank youu :) I will try to post tomorrow or staurday what i finally wore!

Aww Annie, very nice of you. but he used to see me every day and was not smitten by my lovely self... at least I don't think so. And I think I'd go for more sexy, as I'm usually wearing something along the 'classic' line or just the fun and happy line. maybe he needs sexy to see me!!! :wink3::wink3: (that will come out sooo wrong). And it might be dressy for a pub, but since we'll be clubbing afterward's I think I could be excused... (i'm still in love wth the last oneeeeee :bigcry:)

Miss Selfridges. All of them except for the first... I'm actually having a love affair with the last one to be honest. the polca dot+bow is just winning me over... (although the cleavage on the 2nd one would prob be more appropriate to 'show-off' to the guy) (but I could pair up the last one with my polca dot flaaaaaats to make it fun. or just my plain black ones to make it more classy. (I hope they don't have this dress instore as I'm dropping by the store tomorrow before going to his house to give him his present...)

I love oxfords also. they are the cutest. I have a black pair, but they are soooooooooooooo uncomfortable!!! i only wore them once... Ok, so I'm in a big dilemma. I have my end of semester social with the people from my classes. And I want to look amazing. because the guy I like will be there and I want him to see how amazing his 'friend', moi, (as he chose to) can look. some details: 1. It's in a pub, starts at six, but potentially will develop into an all nighter, as everyone can't wait for a break. 2. There will be alcohol, in large amounts. basically we all intend to get massively drunk. (I now, I know, not pretty for a lady to be so intoxicated, but give us all a break, we've been locked inside our rooms and library for the past month or so, we need to SUPER unwind), and his b-day is tomorrow, which means we'll also be celebrating it. 3. Oxford is not bery high heels friendly. lot's of walking to find clubs in stoned streets. So if the heels+stone street already don't match imagine combining that with large amounts of alcohol in your blood (Been there, done that, and don't recommend it to anyone). EDIT: forgot to add: It's also FREAKING freezing (just so that no one goes on sugesting flat sandals and know that tights are highly welcomed) So... any ideas you girls can give me? I also went to the bus station as soon as the gig ended as my bus was at 11:40 and we JUST made it to the station... we tried to avoid traffic and get a taxi at paradise street, near mc donalds, but there were none, so we had to walk all the way up and call one... thank god I made it in time!!!
