  1. Finally woke up!! Was completely knackered after last night, so sorry not to come here before... Amazing, amazing, amaaaaaaaaaaaazing night!!!! Only managed to get to London at 5pm, but the queue was tiny and the other colpldayers that had been there since earlier (Ian, Jen, Kara, Mich, Lori etc) let me stay with them in queue!!! :D It was fun to meet more people here from the board (Ian and Jen, you 2 specially. if it wasn't for you 2 and the board, I wouldnt have met so many great people). And although everyone was pretty exhausted from queuing up, the nice people from O2 gave us the treat of the guys playing for us. It was fun to have some entertainment, odd looks of people passing the streets and it just gave a boost in everyone's energy. Oh, freebies were a nice treat too. Free mini hot dogs (loads of them), oyster card holders, rain ponchos... really good. Once we finally got in, coldplayers on the front row. jonny's side was the most disputed one, for sure. Another few hours of waiting for the gig to start... I kept looking around the balcony waiting for Elton (he never came :( ) and just looking at the rich and famous sipping their champagne (and spotting a super drunk guy that almost fell a few times from the balcony and the girls told on him to the security people... When the Killers finally started it was simply amazing!!!! Brandon Flowers was so energetic it was crazy!!!!!!!! Amazing set, crowd was going insane. everyone singing. It was really beautiful... (And We saw Gwenny sneaking in as the band started and she sang along to most songs!! to the one who asked a few pages back: she was sitting on the first floor balcony, where all the celebs were, but she was to the right side of the stage, Guy's side). A bit more waiting for Coldplay to come... loads of equipment from the Killers to take out, and even MORE equipment from Coldplay to come in. We were just all patiently watching the roadies do their job (Ok, I wasn't so patient, right Ian? "Are we there yet, Are we there yet? Are we there yet?") It was a bit funny when "Blue Danube" started playing and it was clear that half of the crowd didn't have A CLUE that it meant that the concert was about to start. Most of the people behind me were like: "Oh, I bet this is the Elton John entrance song" :laugh4: When the boys came on stage, it was just perfection!! We were sooooo close to them. Jonny was right in front of me and he looked so cute as always (/fangirl). Chris was acting a bit odd... kinda drunklike. and since Mrs Martin was watching, he kept looking up to where she was throughout the concert. When the concert finished with Fix You it was a bit odd (not used to it ending with that anymore) but we know they HAD to play VLV, one: because it's VLV, two: because the bell was a total giveaway! When they came back for the Encore, it was like Chris had a new energy or something. After VLV, When he introduced Gary Barlow, it was just awesome!!!! I admit i am not a big Take That fan, basically coz I don't know it that well, but I've always had a crush on Barlow (even though he is so tiny). And it was clear that the band was having a blast just playing for Mr Barlow... with Chris acting as backing vocal. he seemed thrilled to be doing so! And then, the 'piece of la resistance" of the night. Killers come back to the stage, Coldplay there too, "All these things I've done" starts playing... the 2 bands just look as they're jamming together in a playful mood... Brandon and Chris singing, and then: BONO. I love U2 but have never been able to go to their concert, so even though I kinda expected him to come on (some people had already spotted The Edge on the balcony between bands, so the Bono rumour kinda became more real by then...) it was still an amazing moment. And when Chris went to get Barlow, oh God. This was certainly one of those musical moments that should be remembered. It's really not everyday that you'll be able to see such great artists, from different generations, to share on stage, almost like a boy band, with their bands (coldplay and killers) just kinda 'jamming' together... I felt a bit as if I was intruding a private sunday barbecue of the greats. It ended. we were all beyond happy. And then a few exchanged words with Phil. "you guys sent the postcards? from coldplaying.com? I go there at least 3 times a day" (Ian and Jen, I bet you were proud, weren't you?) Outside, we decided to wait for the biys to come out. Made friends with a papparazi. I had never seen one in my life, let along chitchat with one!!!!! His tips were all good. We saw Bono leave in his car (dude, some serious eyeliner there!!), The Edge leave but since it was late and cold and so far we had been unsuccessful, me, Kara, Mich and Lori decided it was time to go home... Managed to catch my bus to Oxford just in time, and as the bus was passing in front of the Empire a bunch of papz and a silver mercedes. Bus driver slows down... who do I see going in the car? Chris Martin!!! :stunned: Ha, Thanks Oxford Tube... even though I didn't get to see him outisde the Empire, I got to see him from the bus, on my way home... Pretty good way to end an amazing night... pretty good way.

I love big sunglasses (actually wish I could pull off rayban wayfarers, but i always think i look stupid in them), this is just one of them. I brought some other sunnies I love (a Vogue and a Diesel one) here to England, but then again, there not of much use around here...:P

luff luff luff. Gah. This reminds me that my 2.55esque bag broke in Prague and I need to fix it!!!!! And the prada sunglasses are gorgeous. My current baby is my Tom Ford Whitney glasses... I've had them for a while but they are so damn gorgeous!!
  5. Haha, no I haven't Ren!! I wish!!! And how can me doing a stupid face be sexy in any way? :laugh4: uhhh... let me see... I think 7, if I remember correctly... Livia, Nicolas, Ophelie, Kara, Mich, Mark and Josh... and tomorrow might do some new meetings at the Shepherds Bush gig!!! Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee  haha, no Mark. He had been traveling for the past 2 and a half months around Europe and this was just a few days before he went back home...

Annie... Looooove the shoes. they are gorgeous!!
  7. I very much want to see that... it will be hilarious to see Ian around Squeeeeing fangirls. :laugh4: Jen, you know what time you're gonna queue/meet? I already told Mich that as soon as I'm getting to London I'll call her to see where she and everyone else is...
  8. Another coldplaying meeting this time here in England has provided me: Me and Josh, the giant australian (don't know who remembers him, but yeah, he was here in Oxford and we went out for some drinks...) :nice:
  9. I'm glad to see that the queuing will be from late afternoon. I'm leaving Oxford as early as I possibly can, but I don't think I'll be able to get to London before 5pm... good thing is the bus service Oxford-London has a stop at Shepherds Bush, so I can just walk from there and meet everyone!!! :nice:
  10. That was the first thing I thought of!!!!!
  11. Yeah, I figured it shouldn't be a problem... omy, I can't wait for this concert!!! it's going to be amaaaaaaaaaaazing. and meeting all people will be loads of fun too!!!:dance::dance:
  12. Got my ticket also!! but haven't printed it coz i don't have a printer at home... does anyone know if there's a problem with the print not being colour?
  13. As long as he is not 'robbing' our front row, he can go and take whomever he wants.
  14. Is it just me who noticed but with the amount of 'extra' tickets that have been running around loose (daily mirror above, VIP war child ones) does anyone wonder how many of the 2000 tickest ACTUALLY went on sale? or are these extra tix?

poxa, shows anunciados no cu do mundo... será que eles não vão pra america latina?
  16. I know what you mean... last semester I was dead busy studying and would barely come here or on msn... but now things are slightly more relaxed (or i'm just lazier). funny thing is, since i moved here, i keep remembering your crazy stories and now they are a bit less surreal to me, since i'm living in one of the uni's halls... but hope to catch u online some time on msn!!! :nice:
  17. I did... I came back in sept when I got here to England, coz i had a bunch of gigs to go so just wanted to get acquainted with the board again and see if people were still around (to meet and stuff... which happened, coz i met Kara in Sheffield and Mimi in Liverpool). time is passing and apparently we are all still up to the same stuff... i'm also in uni, but finally finished the undergrad and came here to do my masters. you have been gone for quite a while, though. I don't even see u on msn or anything...
  18. Slush is just stupid. makes everything look ugly and makes your clothes and feet wet!!! but i did have loads of fun watching people skiing (yes, you read it right) in the park even though there were these huge green spots of grass all around... Reilleooo!! It's been way too long. you've totally gone MIA. I'm good!!!!! Finally here in England, so am happy. :) What you've been up to crazy person?
  19. I know you live way up north nathan, so i can't really say anything about the situation up there... but here in oxford it was not that much snow, and the city basically left it as it was for days without doing anything properly... i lived in canada for 6 months, got a shitload more of snow and never the public transportation shut down... i think it's just a matter of being prepared for this kind of weather...
  20. Love snow... but more so when the country can actually cope with it (England not being an example of it). Having bus services shut down and icy roads for 3 days when there was 15cm of snow is just stupid :P (ok, and I'm not very well balanced, so the icy roads made me fall a few times, hit my head on the road a few times and bite my tongue, so right now I might be slightly biased). PS: REILLY! :stunned:
  21. But if the ticket is printable you can always print it once you get to London... although I know traveling from so far away, having it in your hands is really an assurance...
  22. :laugh4::laugh4::laugh4: Oh shut up, Mark!!
  23. It's been snowing here in oxford for the past 2 days... people just go crazy. There were guys skiing in the park. like, for real. and now the public transportation has been shut down... real nice. Give the brits and the rain you can and they can cope, do not give them snow, hell breaks loose. Me in uni yesterday...
