  1. This album is amazing, I  it loads. Love the mainly instrumental songs. It has a good pace about it, some fast riff-infused songs at the beginning and then lovely acoustic tinged ones nearer the end. great :nice:
  2. I bought three of their albums back in 04, Morning View, Make Yourself and S.C.I.E.N.C.E. I mainly only listened to Morning View and Make Yourself... Now, I enjoy listening to S.C.I.E.N.C.E a lot!!! It's just got these amazing funky basslines and crazy turntable scratchy sounds, maybe a bit 90's sounding but it's a great change from their latest 'safe' sounding songs. Not that I don't love those as well though!

woah, it was really weird last night, I havn't had a Coldplay dream for a few years now, LOL! Me and my friend were at a festival they were playing, which I think was Isle of Wight..... we managed to get onto the stage somehow and sat on these sofas around the edge. After five or so songs, they said to the crowd, "we need to take a break!" Then they came and sat on the sofas... but Jonny disappeared off the stage somewhere else  I was talking to mainly Will and Chris, who seemed to slowly but surely be squashing me, lol. I said 'please play some old songs next?' they said, 'yeah, we're here to play a very long set so we will'. Will seemed to be acting kinda rude to me, leaning and squashing me and looking annoyed when I asked him questions!! strange dream.
  4. I was at the same gig :) It was very, very strange without her being there and queueing with her :/ but I'm glad that they dedicated a song to her.
  5. I just sent you a message, Debs.
  6. OMG!!!!!!! Jen and Steph!!! That's lovely. Absolutely lovely. The really good times captured there.
  7. I'm glad to know that the band will hopefully know Debs, as she was such a passionate fan for Coldplay for so many years, and such a fan of music and gigs as a whole. I still can't believe my friend is gone and had to go in such a terrible way. We had so many great times at Coldplay concerts and without them and this board I wouldn't have known such a friend with the biggest heart and personality.
  8. Yeah... do you remember the idiot guy who couldn't work the camera? That was such a funny moment. Glad he finally worked it out and got this picture.
  9. awwwwww :( A pic from the Isle of Wight Festival. Brilliant times that will always be remembered.
  10. I saw the pics on her flickr of her in the store and stuff, it looked hilarious and she was having a wonderful time with you when she went out there. This is so hard to get my head around :( Good idea on the Debs message.
  11. What can I say. I'm so shocked this has actually happened. I've known Jen since I first came to Coldplaying in 2005, she was friendly to everyone. I went to the Isle of Wight Festival with her and Steph in 2006. We survived that epic run to the barrier and the whole day til' 9pm when they came on. We progressed to loving the band Bloc Party together, and pretty much every gig I've been to of theirs' has been with her and a close group of about 10 of us who have all become good friends. I know that sometimes she could be pretty outspoken and boisterous but deep down all she was showing was her passion to get as close to the music and gigs as possible I believe. Some people may have disliked her personality sometimes but if you got to know her, you know that she always looked out for her friends and was a caring person. I made some road trips with her to Coldplay concerts at Christmas, she generously let me come even though I had not enough money to pay her for one of the tickets. There we met Mariana and had a good time. I was only with her just 2 weeks ago at a very small intimate and wonderful Bloc Party gig in London. I will have fond memories of that day. With our Bloc Party group of friends we queued and had our usual fun times. Seeing her so recently has made this very tough for me today. Will miss you very much Jen, my friend, RIP.
  12. Thriller and Smooth Criminal. and Dirty Diana. and even though it was a pretty recent one, 'You rock my world' all of his stuff was great :)
  13. You cannot deny the music that he made back in the day was incredible! He was a legend who definitely lost his way of late, but he should be remembered for the groundbreaking songs he made that still sound amazing, even when you've lost count of how many times you've heard them. I never met anyone who hated 'Thriller' or 'Billie Jean' or 'Smooth Criminal' etc. He was just an absolute popular music legend. R.I.P Michael!
  14. nosebleeds are not nice. I used to get soooo many. Once I was on holiday in the Alps, I woke up in the night with a nosebleed, rushed to the bathroom and fainted sideways into the shower :worried: It was bad :(
  15. that's the funniest pic ever! hahah! It's like he's doing time or something  and omg, he's SMILING in a fan pic :o
  16. Well... maybe. but Hysteria and Stockholm Syndrome are always pretty damn good when I've seen them. I just hate the whole Starlight cheesefest they became.
  17. I feel slightly the same^ I used to love them loads too. I will say that hearing their earlier stuff LIVE is still really great, but their last album quite frankly didnt o much for me :/ bit commercial. and when I try listening to them, its not the same. they have to be heard live really for me.
  18. I was going to go.... but other circumstances had made me change my mind, I got a refund. :\ have a good time Dave!
  19. :D
  20. :o :o :o
  21. LOL @ Jonny and Chris on the plane
  22. I like Colorblind by Counting Crows.... and when it was played in Cruel Intentions.
  23. The name is a bit crap.... but the project sounds interesting, I like Mr.Banks' work :nice:
  24. Either of the following, depending on how I feel.... Toast Croissant Weetabix very rarely....a Bacon Butty :)
