Also, ALT 98.7 is giving away tickets to what I am assuming is this show. At the moment it looks to be call in only at 9am, 2pm and 5pm every day.

On the waitlist for Saturday only as I have St Vincent on Friday. I've done a bunch of 1Iota shows, mostly JKL, and they are always very well organized. Usually, it's first come first served, but sometimes they do lotteries, which is what this one sounds like. I'm very curious as to the venue. Fingers crossed!

If you leave South OC at 6, you should make it to the bowl by 9. At that point, I might just recommend parking at Hollywood and Highland, because the traffic just outside the bowl will be awful. That's the best plan. I'm getting there by train, and will take the shuttle. I plan on getting there by 6 so we can picnic, so the shuttle won't have horrific traffic and I really hate that walk up hill. After the show, it's a nice stroll though. I'm really excited now. I have Jack White the night before so it will be a great couple of days for me!

Dave Grohl ruffled some feathers didn't he? I honestly, don't think he was calling out Coldplay or the EDM people. He was calling out acts like Katy Perry who use autotune to hide their voice. Also, Wasting Light is a damn good album and deserved to win. As for Coldplay's performance, it was rough. Chris Martin is obviously sick and I hope he gets some rest because his voice needs it. I was at the show Wednesday and he sounded fine. I too would have preferred Charlie Brown, but it seems bands were performing their nominated songs, Bruce excepting, so there you go.

Amazing show. My only disappointment is I didn't have my camera. I love the new songs live, most especially Charlie Brown (which was already my favorite). The crowd around me was very LA in a bad way, however it was great to hear the singing during the intro to Viva la Vida.

Great show! It had been entirely too long since I'd had the privilege of seeing them live. It was well worth the wait.

That's today's show. The Kimmel shows usually start about 7:30 or and end by 8:30 or 9. But since it's an hour earlier I hope it will start sooner.

It is sprinkling lightly. The reason it was canceled, is they had actually forcast an inch of rain which for SoCal is a lot. Storm fizzled out annoyingly enough.

Just got an email update: Hey Guys - Our show tomorrow including the Coldplay concert has been moved forward by an hour. The audience arrival time for the concert out back is now 5:45. If you have a priority ticket you will check-in at Orange Drive and Hawthorne Avenue. If you have a General ticket you will check-in at Highland Avenue and Hawthorne Avenue. There will not be any purses, backpacks, cameras or bags allowed inside the venue. Cell phones are OK. This is going to be a BIG show. Hawthorne Avenue will be closed and it will be a black party. Good thing I'm leaving work early!

The bands normally play 4 songs. I've gotten there between 4 and 6 and have always gotten in. Although, none of the acts were as big as Coldplay. The rain is a good thing for the crowds, since some people won't show. Thankfully, they allow umbrellas. You just have to close them for the actual taping.

Agreed. They only allow phones in. I have to work that day, so it depends on when I can get out. I'm hoping to arrive by 4:30. If you are staying in downtown, I recommend taking the Red Line in, so you don't have to pay for parking.
