i only saw the first half hour of the set, up to stylo, because I was away for a few days, and that was the only part that my brother recorded for me, thanks alot :lol: eugh I'm annoyed. But now I shall catch up on youtube with the rest. Annoyed that so many people seem to be dissapointed with their set, but I can understand in that gorillaz isnt a traditional band, like blur or radiohead, a 'guitar' group for lack of a better term, they have many members and collaborations that is unusual. Also, they are not really massive in the UK, yes they are known, but not enough. Lastly they do not have enough anthems or hit singles to get a large crowd excited and singing along, especially if a large amount of them are general fans who havent listened to their albums before. Damon seemed wonderful though from what I've seen so far, charismatic, energetic, passionate, well done to him.

that is so strange listening to them, you can tell its damon.....but his voice, the way he sings, is so different! i suppose at that age, starting out, he was imitating other people, other singers he admired. and even though they are peculiar songs :lol: there is that raw talent, for playing about with music, sounds. hippy children sounds cool, even i dont like the lyrics haha. perrine, i would think TGTBATQ was a one off project :( i would love them to do something else as well, but i can't see it. hope they prove me wrong!

oh my god that is terrible! :lol: what was the point of having him there? they could have done all that without him sitting there haha. when they played his songs, he looked quite dead inside :lol: on the other hand, he does look lovely, very pretty :D also, does anyone have a link for the video of an interview he did on another french show recently? i cant find it. to make it easier, its the video that goes with this screencap;

yea :) i ordered 'no distance left to run' along with alex's book (christ i'm such a blur obsessive these days) and watched it today, and it nearly made me cry, honestly. I know its easy and common for people to say they cried watching a film, or a documentary or something, but it seriously has that mood about it, and the way interviews with the band are put together with imagery and their songs, it just works. :heart: fangirling over. carry on :lol:

oh my god I love Jamie's laugh, its so infectious :D Its quite nice to see the two of them behind the scenes as well, just general everyday conversations to each other, relaxed. How cool to see all those sketches from Jamie as well. Murdoc always reminds me of a young Keith Richards :lol: 'the finished result will be WICKED' :lol: Damon doesnt look right with glasses on haha.

this one is my favourite out of them, I'm just loving Damon's sultry, seductive look that burns right into the depths of your soul :lol: I also like in general in these pictures how his eyes look really blue. :lol: You are the reason they posed in this provocative manner. Job well done!
