  4. used to love frappuccinos, like the strawberries and cream one. also like the caramel macchiato hot drink. but i dont crave them half as much as i used to. edit: ^ agree about starbucks having the best whipped cream! it just is so amazing, the taste.
  5. Oh my this is a lovely picture, what a undeniably cute nose he has! and the brown hair and eyes. how lovely is he  not only obviously talented, but was beautiful too. rip heath. jude law used to look real good, not really liking his look of late, but back then, nice  simon baker again....i cannot stop watching the mentalist nowadays. very cute.
  6. i would have said chocolate a while back....but realising now that there is so many ice cream flavours, and more variety. mcflurrys, ben & jerrys, fresh homemade. i know them brands are not the be all and end all of ice cream  those are just my favourites at the moment that is all. coffee is my favourite.
  7. well, you either like their music or you dont, i can see why people dislike them and/or their music, with the lack of upbeat, happy music in general terms and thom yorke's acquired taste singing voice. i remember before listening to radiohead properly i would think of them as a band that had been around for a while, and they made weird, sad music, too hard for me to get into. heard street spirit and just at similar times on the tv and thought 'hey, i might have to listen to these tracks again'. sure enough i liked them after a few listens, and proceeded to get the bends. to be honest i dont really know why they are so amazing to me personally....baffling question. firstly i guess i just 'get' yorke's voice, i mean i like the way he can put across different emotions in his voice. i liked that contrast between the pretty falsetto and the lines delivered in a 'lazy snarl'. i liked the songs, the melodies, the lyrics. i just remember putting on one of their cd's and being totally awash with awe and happiness from these various songs. i just felt a connection with the songs.
  8. haha, never seen this thread before. i shall contribute a couple. of course he is not handsome or conventially good looking, but he has an adorable, cute look about him, his face, he has quite delicate facial features. combined with being a musician and his band image....makes him attractive.
  9. it changes but i'll enter a rough list for this moment in time. radiohead doves divine comedy super furry animals animal collective clinic the kinks elliott smith beck coldplay honourable mentions: elbow, blur, jeff buckley, modest mouse, roisin murphy, stone roses. something like that. i dont know hah.
  10. grizzly bear - veckatimest clinic - internal wrangler doves - kingdom of rust
  11. 1. Oasis - why this band continues to be gods gift to music for britain i will never understand. sure they create easy to listen to guitar music, but its boring, they never change their sound enough. several times i have listened to an oasis song on the radio and thought it was one song title, and it turned out to be another. shows how samey quite a few of their songs sound in relation to each other. 2. Nirvana - i can see that kurt cobain clearly had a charisma or certain appeal about himself that came across to their fans through the songs and performance, but surely nirvana wouldnt be mentioned to the same level to this year, if kurt was still alive. thats all i can justify or think of right now
  12. i really like the new single! so yea i'm interested to find out more about them
  13. kinks - victoria
  14. flaming lips radiohead super furry animals kinks divine comedy

  18. sfa - fuzzy logic sfa - radiator
  19. 1 Super Furry Animals 23 2 Björk 22 3 Gruff Rhys 11 4 Neon Neon 9 5 The National 1 5 Modest Mouse 1 5 Damon Albarn 1 5 Radiohead 1 5 Aphex Twin 1 5 Jeff Buckley 1
  20. Hmm! i loved the way he changed it round a bit, kept repeating etcetera for longer than usual. strange performance....so unlike them in some ways, i cant quite put my finger on it, but in others it was just purely them, with trying a different angle, thom going into his weird, posessed performing mode. i'm not precious at all about them performing at the grammys either, its great for them, they should take these opportunities when it suits them, they have earned this worldwide reputation, they should show off with it sometimes, like that. something a bit eccentric from what everyone else is doing.
