  1. Great band. I've loved them since August 05. Can't wait for the new album to be out which I think is early next year.
  2. My dad was talking to some IT guys today at work and they talked about AVAST. Is it worth replacing AVG for it?
  3. Right, I recently downloaded the trial version of spyware doctor. But I have had warnings from spyware doctor saying about infections ect. The only way you can get rid of them is when you purchase the full version of the software for £20 or so a year. My parents are happy enough to pay that but I was woundering if there is anything as good maybe for a cheaper price or for free. Oh, and also does Spyware Doctor work well with Firefox?
  4. My brother has one. I make sure that my MSN contacts don't know that I do. I think its a bit strange when people want to watch you do nowt all a bit pervy tbh.
  5. Although I don't believe it and I don't know my exact weight and height it said I will live till i'm 93 and die on the 8th December 2083.
  6. Couldn't be bothered to read the lot (I know how lazy) but I must say well done to the lad. Dunno why i should care I have an iPod already.
  7. sounds scary. What was the disk? Go on this it might help. clicky
  8. Yeah. I tried to delete the files it installed but i couldn't delete them. I managed to get rid of the viruses. But i found if i went into add/Remove programs it was there and i just removed it. Up until last week a week after the virus i was experiencing a lot of pop ups by one company. I aslo found that they installed a search thing where everytime it went on a search engine or a website with a serach engine e.g. google a pop up would appear. Anyhoo i've got rid of them now and hope not to get any more *touches wook*
  9. Mine came from MSN. It was a link so i clicked on it cos it said 'is this you?' and the person who it was off doesn't really know me. Then i got another from another contact who i didn't know. My own fault really so they have been blocked even though it probably wasn't their fault.
  10. Just proves how easy it is to make maga money on the internet. Btw how does youtube and google make their money? I have never really known.
  11. I got on this time last week. It installed a toolbar called "toolbar888". I got spyware doctor and used AGV to delete the viruses in the virus vault.
  12. I dunno. I nearly uninstalled it on sunday as i had 7 trojan horses and then i scanned my computer with spyware doctor and it forund like 400 infected files. Everything seems fine although i've had a couple of pop ups which isn't common for me so i'm not a bit warery.
  13. I have google but i like it when i can swich to wikipedia and ebay. Tis good.
  14. I'm happy with firefox and i think the tabbing is nifty and i do love the search bar where you can change search engines.

  16. I have now downloaded firefox.
  17. Does look snazzy
  18. Right cos i've just had a pop up from my taskbar saying windows was updating which it does every now and then. The logo is a yellow/ glod shield with a key hole. That will still happen if i used firefox? Sorry i'm not the best person with the techincal side of the internet.
  19. What do you mean by windows updates?
  20. I have currently got IE but i am woundering wether to update to firefox. I have noticed some of you use firefox so all I want to know is whats the difference? Do all the web pages work on firefox? And have you had any problems using firefox?
  21. Thought so. Thanks Btw i did know about the digital and optical zoom stuff i just let him get on with it.
  22. We have just got back from holiday. We went to the canary islands where it is cheap for electrical goods. My dad went with the intention of buying a Casio Exlim camera preferebly the latest one. We went to buy one as it worked out at about £116! He was just about to buy the camera when he asked if there was any similar cameras. The guy in the shop gave my dad a 'euro cyber x-3312' made by hitachi. The guy basically wowed my dad saying it has a 3' screen, 12 mega pixel? and 8X digital zoom. I think my dad has been ripped off as he paid 30 euros more. On the camera it says 12 mega pixels but in black it says maximum effective 3.1 megapixel. What does this mean is it 12 or 3.1? I have realised it has no optical zoom explaning why the zooms crap. I also want to know what a 3.1 mega pixels CMOS sensor is and up to 12 mega pixels Interpolated resolution. All i want to know is has he been ripped off and we could just sell this camera or is it actuall better than our old kodak 3.1 mega pixel with 3x optical zoom. Anyway what a salesman i can say shame my dad fell for it.
  23. AGV Free. Never had a virus or problem yet touch wood.
