The Rock am Ring performance the day after will probably be televised in 1Plus (see last page of the Rock am Ring thread). That should be quicker. Otherwise you probably have to wait for youtube videos.

Last year they showed 2 of the 4 headliner performances in full (Kiss, Rammstein) and one in parts (Muse). The one they didn't show was Rage Against The Machine. It always depends on the bands if they want their performances to be shown. So, is anybody here who wants to watch this programme from 22:50 (CET) to see if they show anything? If the don't, I could send someone an sms with setlist, impressions, etc. I always remember setlists but don't expect the right order

12 days to go.... ROCK AM RING

One 4th June, they might televise the Rock am Ring appearence at 1Plus, at least a part of it. 1Plus is a German radio station. There'll also be an Rock am Ring audio live stream at http://www.swr3.de/rockamring!

They might perform it together at Rock am Ring and Rock im Park. Ash and Coldplay are both performing there on the same days.

Instead of the world going down we could just get some UFO information via Alien Radio :cool:

Maybe the album contains a collaboration with Beyoncé :laugh3:

Most of the people there are not the hardcore ones that have seen them several times and/or know every single song. Most of them want to hear the old hits. At festivals I generally expect an emphasis on hits.

Of course you're right to some extent. That's the way it usually works =) I mainly disagree in one point. Most people buy their festivals tickets in advance and not a few weeks beforehand just when they hear a certain single. Many bands promote their yet to be released records on festivals and the audiences are faced with a whole lot of new songs, of which only 1 (or 2) have been played on the radio before. Especially headliners often do so like Placebo 2009, Smashing Pumpkins 2007,...

They do 7 festivals in June. All in Europe. They could do interviews and TV performances in between. And they'd play it on the radio anyway, thus providing promotion for the album.

Would be great to the see that statement again. Though it's already quite old and the band could have easily decided to change plans and play one or two new ones
