I think your main issue here is that Coldplay are, as you put it, yourfavorite band. Why do you care what Pitchfork say? After all, its only their opinion. If you don't like it just ignore it. Also, although I'm not too clued up into writing reviews, I would expect that a band's previous work would have to be taken into consideration when reviewing their new album. A band may produce 3 consecutive albums full of great content but if they haven't progressed from their debut how could a reviewer be justified in giving all 10s (or whatever) to all those albums? See Sigur Ros perhaps? As for the person who brought up the "how would you handle being so famous" please refer to this excruciating video on Youtube with that guy defending Britney. Um, I think the program that you use to transfer music to your ipod on your computer (iTunes) accepts all kinds of audio files and when you transfer those songs to your ipod it gets gets converted automatically (mpeg4 I think) so you don't really need to fuss around with that.

Hi, well I'm not very good at introductions but what the hell. Um, well I first found Coldplay in a bargain bin, yay cheap stuff FTW, it was Parachutes. Loved it bought AROBTTH. Here I kinda lost Coldplay. :cry: You know things happen, accidents, losses etc. X&Y came out. Thought it was a obviously sexist album and that the band so certainly must have screwed themselves, went to the mid-night opening, threw my money at the guy and ended up here :P . I'm from New Zealand, still sad that our stadium in Auckland is taking sooo long to build and so CP concerts are being put back, so visit coldplay.co.nz and sign the petition if you have spare time. So yea introduce yourself :lol: and sorry if this is too long or strange, Singstar and dance mats for 10hrs with obviously crazy people on Christmas Day, does things to you.
