Right now I am going to believe that Ticketmaster is posting the firm concert dates and that the other ones floating around are still not 100% reliable. Ticketmaster seems to be not listing any of the concerts that are being talked about on this forum as having conflicting information. Could it be that this tour schedule is still not 100% firm?? We have no idea how to contact Coldplay's tour manager. Do you? It seems like these Ticketmaster dates are the only firm tour dates (at least that's how I'm looking at it). Philly isn't listed for either June 29 or July 25. Do you think it's possible that this tour schedule still is not 100% firm? They only have a few days it seems to get this all straight. They are going to travel from Vegas to Chicago and then head back to the West coast? Ohmigod. This is all so nonsensical. What happened to Boston on November 3 as listed on Coldplay.com?

This is all rather amazing, in a very bad way. How can such a big band be mismanaged like this by LiveNation & Ticketmaster & I presume their own tour manager???? None of my e-mails or phone calls or anything have worked. I feel completely helpless and ignored. My conflict is that I have plane tickets to Philly on June 29. But, Comcast Tix says the concert is rescheduled for July 25. But Coldplay are supposed to be in Oakland on July 25, and July 25 is not listed on any other website other than Comcast Tix. The frustration is overwhelming me! :cry:

We need to start a Lost! club. There are several conflicting concert dates being posted between Coldplay.com, LiveNation.com, Ticketmaster, etc. Hhhhhheeelllllppppppppp!! PLEASE, can't anyone from this forum with a little more direct contact with Debs Wild somehow get all of this straightened out?!? Pretty, pretty, pretty, please?!? I am begging for a straight answer on these concert dates......... :cry:

Coldplay cannot play both Oakland, CA and Philly on July 25. This date change needs to be confirmed by someone who appears to have a damn brain in their head. And so far, no one has come forward to explain all of these concert date conflicts and straighten Coldplay's tour schedule out on every relevant website. It's getting to be unfuckingbelievable. :angry:

BUT Comcast Tix is the only site listing the concert date as July 25. Everywhere else, including Coldplay.com lists the date as June 29. JBella76, you need to begin your ticket search on LiveNation.com. Since the Wachovia Center is owned/managed/whatever by Comcast, Comcast Tickets is selling the concert tickets for Coldplay in Philly, not technically Ticketmaster itself, though usually Ticketmaster will redirect you to Comcast Tix. http://www.livenation.com/artist/getArtist/artistId/20505/

If you click on the link to buy tickets to the Philly concert, you are still led to the lovely Comcast Ticket webpage with the announcement that the concert is rescheduled for July 25. (The one Jasmyne refers to in her post). As of noon on Monday, June 9 EDT, this confusion is still not cleared up. I honestly can't take this moronic bullshit any more. Why can't people just do their damn jobs?

The only problem with this theory is that Coldplay is on the West coast before and after July 25, AND they are scheduled to be in Oakland on July 25. There are just too many inconsistencies for me to accept July 25 is the real date. I'm starting to be more inclined that this concert will be straight up cancelled before it is played on July 25. I don't see how they can bring their entire tour & support group back across the US for one date, just to turn around, go back to the West coast and play at Pemberton on July 27. It's so illogical that it's practically unbelievable that July 25 is correct. If June 29th doesn't work for either the band or the Wachovia Center, then I am going to predict this concert will be simply cancelled, especially if ticket sales are bad as someone else mentioned.

From the interviews he's given lately, I think Chris was going for the opposite response. He wanted VLVODAAHF to be the one you considered a group album, and not the one all about Chris.......

The number for the Wachovia Center is (215) 336-3600 and the number for Comcast Tickets is (877) 546-7733. I think we should all call each number every day until we get a reliable and verifiable response. Maybe if we drive them nuts with our calls, someone will get off their lazy ass and do their job.

In other words, no one knows what the fuck is going on. What sort of prior commitment could a "web development team" have? A "conference" in Bermuda? Give me a *&^%$! break. I cannot take this incompetence any more. Nothing is listed on the Oakland arena's website for July 25, btw, and there's no link for purchasing tickets for that concert yet either on LiveNation. OK, I just spent 30 minutes on the phone with Comcast Tickets (1-877-546-7733). They still insist that July 25 is the date of the Coldplay concert in Philly. So, I am officially ready to be committed to a mental hospital. Does anyone communicate nowadays? How can Coldplay.com and LiveNation list the date as June 29 and Comcast state it's July 25? At any rate, I got off the phone with Comcast at 12:30 PM EDT on Saturday, June 7. I even told them that Coldplay was scheduled to be in Oakland, CA on July 25. But, no, they insisted that I should not travel to Philly on June 29, but rather on July 25. So, please don't shoot me if Comcast changes their mind at some point in time next week, but right now they would not budge from the rescheduled for July 25 chant. :wreck:

And that leaves us with the date of June 29th to rely on....... I guess we should call the Wachovia Center on Monday. I don't know what started all this confusion, but I would love to give someone a swift kick in the pants (and that's putting it very nicely :whip:). It seems like LiveNation & Comcast may have jumped the gun by posting a date change that was not 100% firm. It is logical that the Philly concert is June 29, especially now that they're supposed to play Oakland CA on July 25. As Barb has said all along, it never made sense that they would drag their entire tour across the country for one day, and then back over to the West coast again in order to play Philly on July 25. So, after all this confusion and embarrassment, I feel 85% certain that Coldplay will be at the Wachovia Center on June 29th, even though we have e-mails from Comcast saying the date is July 25.
