  1. Though we only chatted with each other via the internet, she was one of the loveliest persons I've ever met. She was always so kind to me. I am just absolutely heart-broken to hear this tragic news. I was so hoping to meet her in person at Wembley. RIP sweet Jen. We will miss you terribly.
  2. I think you'll start hearing from more people as the concert date grows closer. There were lots of great fans last time Coldplay was in Raleigh! I'll be there; I just haven't posted on Coldplaying for awhile.
  3. I think he's referring to their performance of Talk at the Grammys.........
  4. "It doesn't happen to many other large bands?" You really need to research that statement further. Civil lawsuits like this one happen every day to big artists. I really can't believe you seriously said that. You don't like Coldplay, and you love this Joe Satriani guy. WE GOT IT. I just hope Joe enjoys his dimes while his lawyer basks in the millions he'll be getting no matter how this lawsuit ends.
  5. **cough** yeah, ok, whatever Satchfan. Job done. Go back to sleep with Satriani's lawyer now. Oh, and you got your adjectives switched. You would be the "devil" to the "angels" who appreciate Coldplay's music. No one is blind here, and we didn't advertise for a saviour to come and make us all see again. Bye.
  6. Jesus, would you just go sleep with this jerk and get out of here already?
  7. The main issue here is whether or not a LAWSUIT is warranted and also the highly suspicious timing of that lawsuit. In the US, you can file a civil lawsuit over anything without having to prove any sort of merit to your claim before filing. Civil lawsuits are expensive, they make lawyers richer than any plaintiff, and they are emotionally draining and time-consuming. Satriani is an asshole for filing a lawsuit, and his lawyer is a bigger one. In my opinion, one line of his stupid song sounds vaguely similar to VLV. Doesn't sound ANYTHING like lawsuit material to me. Civil law in the US needs to be cleaned up, and I'm sorry to see Coldplay have to suffer through this ridiculous legal system of ours. FUCK SATRIANI AND HIS LAWYER!! WHAT A WHINER!
  8. It's just fucking incredible!
  9. Heard DAAHF in the background of another one of their bios tonight! I guess someone putting those together for NBC likes Coldplay!
  10. I'm not trying to bash the band. I was just whining a little. Yes, I do travel to see Coldplay. Always have and always will. But, traveling is expensive, and I do know other fans who just can't afford it. DC and Atlanta are the closest venues to North Carolina, and there's no way for a fan from NC to see Coldplay without spending quite a bit of money on gas and at least one night in a hotel. It's just a minor whine; I didn't mean to piss anyone off. I was just hoping that if they added more tour dates that one of them may be in NC. And, not so much for me even, but for other NC fans who aren't able to travel so far to see Coldplay.
  11. It's great that they've added more shows, but why in the exact same cities they've already performed or were already scheduled to perform in?? Geez, they do actually have fans in other parts of the "US of A" for Christ's sake.............
  12. I have one extra ticket for this show in Sect 118 Row 1. PM me if you're interested.
  13. You guys have got to be kidding. One line sounds similar. ONE fucking line. That guy needs to shave his moustache and try to get some more oxygen to his brain if he thinks his song is anything like VLV. And, personally, I'm tired of Radiohead fans posting their negativity (because it's only negativity, NEVER anything even a little positive) on this forum. I don't torture them on their forum, and I wish they'd show the same respect here.
  14. Thanks for posting this! Sums up my feelings rather well. Hating on Coldplay without logical reason has become so popular, and it is getting more than annoying. There is music I don't enjoy at all (like alot of country), but I never in my life would tear into an artist on such a personal nature (or seek out a fan forum to post my negative opinions). Why is it so cool to be so hateful towards Coldplay and in particular Chris Martin? I really am stunned by it. It is a very strange and unsettling phenomenon, and I hope it doesn't have too much of a negative impact on the band because it has to bother them, at least somewhat.
  15. Yes, and realizing it didn't look like they were coming to NC so buying tickets and plane tickets to Philly really sucks. But, I have to agree with the general sentiment that this isn't much to complain about. I'll see them soon, one way or another, and I'll love every minute of it. Now, if only they'd cover the cost of the changed plane ticket.......... :) But, here's hoping they come back to NC in 2009!!
  16. Thanks for the info. The "production company" needs a kick in the pants.
  17. Well, I know alot of people aren't happy, including me, but at least it is a straight answer to our questions, and for that I say sincerely thank you. Now, let's see if we can all rearrange our concert plans!
  18. As long as I'm near a computer today, I am going to keep this thread at the top of the list. So, come on powers that be that lurk around here. WHERE IS AN ACCURATE TOUR SCHEDULE?????
  19. That's OK. For a few hours, Comcast Tix had the date shown as JUNE 25! No wonder we're all confused!
  20. Dear LiveNation, I have been waiting almost a week to hear back regarding the Coldplay concert in Philadelphia. I simply need to know if they will be there June 29 or July 25 or not at all. Please respond. A heartsick Coldplay fan WHY is this such a hard question to answer?? They could at least tell me to F off!
  21. Flood the bastards with e-mails. Also try going to the old Coldplay.com forum http://forums.coldplay.com/ and post there. Maybe Debs Wild will eventually be able to help us too. She still reads the posts there. My tummy hurts. :(
  22. Add your name to this thread if you are one of the frustrated members who is having trouble finding out accurate information regarding a tour date for Coldplay. List the concert that is Lost! as well. Maybe someone will read this thread and actually give enough of a shit to help us out. I am Pam, and I am desperately trying to find out WHEN Coldplay will be in Philadelphia. It seems to be either June 29 or July 25 or never. If anyone has accurate info regarding this concert date, I sure would appreciate it if you could pass the info along to me. I have concert tickets and a plane ticket, but I have no idea when I should be there. Thanks.
