  1. Try singing the four part harmony of Fix You and playing Jonny's riff at the same time. They're completely independant of each other. It's pretty tough.
  2. For the current version of GPASUYF (the one they do live now) Jonny uses a really dry phaser effect for the outro part. Also make sure your drummer is a beast. The bassline in GPASUYF is really rolling, which gives it that nice flowing sound, make sure its not choppy. Good luck.
  3. Yeah, thanks. Thats it, but how can that be? - Moogs are monophonic synths (only one note at a time) and I see him playing with both hands.
  4. Go for it man, Coldplay is the most meticulous band ever - every venue is different and has different acustics and they won't take the stage till they've got the sound just right. At Shoreline in August, they were soundchecking around 4:30pm, but I think it varies - just get there early and snoop around - it makes it more exciting anyway.
  5. Does anybody know what type of synth guy is using on the Twisted Logic Tour? It is mounted stage right and he uses it to play the piano riff for 'Speed of Sound' and something else on another song.
  6. Til Kingdom Come: CACGBc Yellow: EABGBd# Enjoy
  7. Amp: Fender HotRod Deville + Guitar: 1970 Fender Thinline Telecaster + Line 6 Delay + Other various effects = Jon Buckland
  8. You're talking about one amp called the Fender Hotrod Deville. It comes as a 2x12 version and a 4x10 version and it is lovely. It is what Jonny has been using since AROBTTH.
  9. Basically, If you want to change your life and feel all the energy that the boys put into the show and stand up the whole time (not like the lame rest of the crowd) then yes, get floor seats and got fucking nuts.
  10. At the show in Sacramento, I walked through an empty loading dock about 4 hours before the show. I just walked in liked I owned the place and nobody asked any questions - I walked by Fiona Apple's dressing room and asked for a bathroom, used it, then walked straight out.
  11. What was that catchy techno instramental one?
  12. Yes, I know what you're talking about! I was just trying to find that song. If someone could put up the pre-show soundtack list up that would be great!
