I think it's dark and he is looking for some comfort in this inconsolable world. Look at the artwork . Everything's been erased and there must be something you can cling onto. And radiohead have always matched the sound with the lyrics. Just how i see it myself, obviously. And true there's some hope, there's always got to be some hope, what would it all be worth then. could be all nonsense what Im trying to say here but oh, well.. But yeha we gotta see some light at the end of the tunnel to go through it all. and we need sometimes something that gets our minds away from it for a while so we can handle it all. hehe so it's not ALL dark. but it's dark. and I do understand what you mean with the whole lp8 thing, because In Rainbows has got it's darkness too. You just can't shut it away permanently as much as it would make you feel better. lailalai I cut it now.

you know the atmosphere of radiohead songs has always been very dark (and the eraser too) and that's what they've wanted cause the themes of the songs were very dark. I sometimes can't listen to them because it drives me in the dark world and I get anger-infected. So powerful music. But the anger kina makes me strong too. but on this album I think thre more songs that arent that dark. Thats another reason why its easier to listen to, too i think. But Nude is dark but beautiful. Today I listened to CUTW on the way to school. I stared the street the whole time and got pretty angry haha.

I like the videotape, it fits to the album.

ok, after having listened to it twice, it's defo the best album of the year imo. It's hard to put Rh albums in order cause they're different and I love them for different reasons bla bla but if I try.. at least it's better than BH hehe and The Bends and I'd say HTTT. And even though it's not as challenging as their last 3 albums, it's good they made something different again after the more experimental trio. And still it's not like OKC or the bends but something new (the sound of it, I know the songs are old). They can change but still be Radiohead and they are definitely still the greatest band in the world :P I'm definitely not disappointed. I love IR ah genius. Bodysnatchers, Nude, WEIRD FISHES/ARPEGGI!!, Reckoner, JIGSAW FALLING INTO PLACE!!!!!! yes yes yes yes lol just copy/pasted what I wrote to Nik in last.fm I don't dislike any track on it.
