Youth Hostels, they're like a cheap boarding place.. usually they're for student travellers mostly, you can get a place in one with an international student card. As for hotels, I can't really name any off hand, sorry. See, i've never really needed a hotel there, i stay with a relative when i visit..i mean there's gotta be loads to look at on the net i imagine, search under "cheap hotels london' or something . Personally i'd go with a b&b, but then im a real cheap so and so! lol

umm well you could look into Bed & Breakfasts or even hostels, much cheaper options...don't know any off hand, but there's loads of B&B's around London area...try a net search to begin with I guess is the best advice I can think of to start looking, best to look at Yahoo UK and search the UK only listings, you should be able to find some useful links that way.
