This is awful. I'm a huge fan. His music was one of the few that could get me in a really good mood no matter what. I'd pop in his Greatest Hits CD during a good day and I'd just go even higher... Sometimes even dance in my car, and thats not something I do for any other CD. When I heard the news, my family and I popped in his CD and sat around being happy because his music just does that to you when you listen to it.

I was a big Mayer fan back when he was a local artist here in Atlanta. Then he got a band and released his CD, I wasnt that big into his CD when it came out... "Your Body is a Wonderland" is such a cheesy overly produced song. It sounded different on his first release of RFS, then they re-did his album (to make it even more poppy) and they totally went overboard. Should you go see him live? yes, definitely, he hides himself on his album, but comes out on stage and shows you everything he's got. He's a great guitarist. He turns his songs into Jam sessions and goes all out on the solos. I feel bad for the guy, He gets paid all this money, but the industry gets to have its way with his music, that makes me nervous as a musician. big label: we'll pay you a million dollars if we can produce your record Chad: wow, thats a lot of money, I could live the rest of my life on that, Ok, just dont go overboard with it big label: trust us, we know what we're doing *months later* Rollingstone: Chad Yochum's Debut Album = * out of *****. He's a total John Mayer wannabe, we hope he'll be gone as soon as possible. Chad: NOOOOOO big label: heheheh, money money money

the show sounded great, but it was short, I wanted a short show, but Its not something I want to do alot, since I'm used to putting on a two-hour show by myself. a short show is good every now and then... Yeah, I didnt play "Sigh," it wasnt that intimate of an audience, and I wasnt feeling it, Sigh is a song that I play when the mood is right. This is the first show that I've ever performed without playing "Sigh." I played with Schming, their audience is more goofy (they play stuff like the Hives). John from schming said that I made one of his fans cry, which means I did my job. If someone in the audience experiences an extreme emotion (in a good way) from my music, then I'm doing my job well. Not only is sushi one of my top five favorite foods, its also extremely healthy for you, since its raw. Deepwater fish can be eaten raw, because they are unable to carry diseases. People are so frightened by sushi, as if its going to kill them, but its been a tradition for over a thousand years, McDonalds is 100x more likely to make you sick. I get this special roll at my favorite Japanese restaurant called a "Mega Protein Bomb" Which has the rolled rice filled eel, avacado, crab, salmon, and unagi sauce on top (mmmmm, my favorite) It melts in your mouth, hehehe...
