  3. ^The setlist I got from Rick :) After the concert ended, I stuck around and asked people taking down the stage if they could grab a set list and the ones I asked said sorry, they weren't able to. Security as usual were trying to get people out but were less pushy this time, understanding that the venue was huge and that the exits were clogged anyway. So I looked to the stage and and got the attention of someone wearing glasses and a headset who looked like they were part of the crew. I called to him and drew a rectangle with my hands, and to my sheer happiness, he understood what I meant. He looked around for a bit and then finally drew a folded out set list from his pocket and tossed it to me from the stage. I wish I could have thanked him more! He was so kind about it.
  4. Chris' enthusiasm just shines in the photo :laugh3: And I love how he's seated in the teachers row. He was a special one, that Chris.
  5. That hair is like nothing else - so flashback nineties! And is that a wood bead necklace? :laugh3:
  6. Yeah, it was originally from the Hitchhiker's thing but to each their own
  7. Thursday night at the concert in Toronto, near the closing of the show, Chris and the boys (and Phil!) give Will hugs, cake and sing a massive sing along happy birthday to the man :nice: It was so sweet! I made sure to film it: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oOEoSWGTmtQ]YouTube - Coldplay - Happy Birthday sung to Will [HQ] & Life In Technicolour II in Toronto 07/30/09[/ame]
  8. They had their show in Toronto at the Rogers Centre this past Thursday, and today they're in Montreal for the Osheaga Music Festival I like this Canadian love haha
  9. Thanks Ian for sharing these :) Being in the pit, you kind of forget at times how immensely huge the venue is. It's mind blowing :shocked2: The cellphone wave as so magical and stunning. I'll post my video of it up later today
  10. My first video and the only video I've uploaded so far - I just set up an account and it's four thirty in the morning so the rest to follow sometime soon :P ALSO: 3 seconds in = CHRIS eye contact!! Enjoy. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uYbMEMs4PYo]YouTube - In My Place [HQ] Coldplay @Rogers Ctr, Toronto - July 30/09[/ame]
  11. ^ Where were they selling those? I would have loved one! Do they do that for other shows? But my god, I still can't get over the concert  It was soo amazing and I still can't believe how incredible it ALL was. I don't even know where to begin describing the whole thing. After lining up since the morning, my friend and I were in the pit, front row, between Chris and Jonny though closer to the centre, so I definitely have some great footage and photos to share :nice: Also, I just realized I saw a bunch of you lot  I wish I could have said hello
  12. Lovers In Japan acoustic
  13. I can't imagine that in 24 hours we're going to be lining up for the show. It doesn't even feel like it, the reality of it still has yet to sink in completely.
  14. ...TOMORROW!!!!           Just had to get that out of my system
  15. The boys probably won't take the stage until 9:30-ish, considering that this time around there are two opening bands. But be there for 9:00 just in case. I haven't listened much to Kitty, Daisy and Lewis but some of Elbows songs are actually reallly good :) Having them play Don't Panic last year during the encore was just icing on the cake because it was so unexpected and a great surprise :nice: I do hope they do something a little extra for this show, but either way it'll be amazing. And of course we'll go crazy, don't we always?
  16. Thanks for letting me know! I hope they don't run out of stuff at the end of the show
  17. Do you know how many bracelets do you get for $15? Hmm trying to strategize my spending for Thursday haha
  18. Don't worry, I'm pretty sure you get some of the butterflies fall on you in your section. They release a TON :nice:
  19. Yes, I shall save up heavy for that car  The trouble with Gore's thing is that he poses like a simplified good (pro-environmental stuff) against a simplified evil (makers of cars, roads etc) which is filled with flaws. But hey, it works to our morals. (and now, back to the 'Are you a good driver' thread)
